The Terror Quote of the Day
“We will burn the streets if two coalition representatives are elected.”
Eyal Neve, leader of the “Kissing Brothers” group, one of the many groups in the anti-government demonstrations.
Isn’t it amazing how the anti-government anarchists have adopted the language of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the PLO? How many times over the years have we heard these terror groups threaten to “burn the streets” and “burn the country” if Israel does this or that?

But what was he gesturing?
Was he giving them the finger that they deserved?
Or was he telling them to smile—note how the fingers on both hands are raising the corners of his mouth. Chikli says it was the latter, but the fraudulently self-described “liberal, progressive, pro-democracy” crowd says it was the former and are aggrieved by his behavior.
Your humble servant has just one thing to say: Kolakevod Chikli!
The News on the Israeli Street
The war in Judea and Samaria.
Shooting attacks:
*Palestinian terrorists carried out a major shooting attack on an Israeli motorist and a military vehicle near Harmesh yesterday. More than 10 bullets were fired into the motorist’s car:
The driver was wounded twice but managed to make it to safety. However, IDF soldiers that pursued the terrorists were also hit–4 soldiers were wounded, one seriously.
The terrorists remain at large this morning.
The attack took place at almost exactly the same spot as the murder of Meir Damari several weeks ago. Last night, members of the Harmesh community said that they would form a militia to man the abandoned checkpoint near Harmesh.
*Palestinian terrorists fired on IDF troops in the Balata settlement. One terrorist was shot and killed.
*Palestinian terrorists fired on IDF soldiers at Doura. Our troops returned fire wounding several terrorists.
*Palestinian terrorists fired on IDF soldiers in the Rafidiya neighborhood of Shechem.
Israel strikes at Iranian assets in Syria again . . .
Israeli jets struck weapons warehouses belonging to Iranian proxies near Damascus overnight.
Good news in Judea and Samaria! . . .
Israel is set to approve 4,750 new apartments in Judea and Samaria. The Supreme Planning Council in Judea and Samaria will meet next week and approve the promotion of the following (a partial list):
Ganei Modi’in (150 new apartments), Eli (374), Neve Tsuf (326), Givat Zeev (228), Meitzad (27), Ma’ale Amos (152), Ma’ale Adumim (340), Kiryat Arba (29), Mevo Dotan (234), Migdalim (184), Etz Ephraim (276), Ariel (98), Beitar Ilit (258), Karnei Shomron (79), Adora (287), Telem (196).
What is breathtaking about this announcement is the scope of communities affected. Normally 2 or 3 communities might receive construction approvals; here we have 16–with the promise from Finance Minister Smotrich that there will be more approvals in a few months.
