The News on the Israeli Street
What in the world has happened on the Lebanese border?
Over the past year, Hezbollah has set up 27 outposts along the border in Lebanese territory:
Yesterday, it was revealed that the terror organization actually crossed the border into Israel several weeks ago and set up three manned military outposts–across from an IDF base at Har Dov in Israel.
Yes, you read that correctly.
In Israel.
And our only response so far has been to say that the outposts are not a security threat, and to tell the U.N. to order Hezbollah to remove the outposts–and if they are not removed, we will act.
Say what? Not a security threat?
Why on earth don’t we just obliterate them?
Unbelievable.
Good news from the Palestinian state of Gaza . . .
Ayman Mansour, a senior member of the Hamas leadership, and his Hamas affiliated son were killed yesterday.
By Mansour’s nephew–also affiliated with Hamas.
Who then committed suicide.
TODAY’S BLOG
We Will Not Stand Idly By
“We will not stand idly by and watch settler violence.”
The egregiously abominable U.S. Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides.
Two days ago following the murders of 4 Israelis at the gas station near Ali, all Nides could initially muster was a posting that morally equated those Israelis murdered with the Islamic Jihad terrorists who were killed in Jenin this past week as they planned to murder more Israelis.
Nides’ quote today is in reference to the violence at Turmus Ayya that occurred two nights ago in which Jewish community members burned cars and and several houses following the murders of the 4 Jewish community members at the gas station.
To begin with, Nides and the Biden Administration have an exalted opinion of who they are.
“We will not stand idly by.”
An obscenely blatant threat if ever there was one. What does the U.S. plan to do? Send in military troops? . . . More likely, the Bidenites will support anti-Israel resolutions in the United Nations.
Your humble servant and OneIsrael certainly do not condone what happened at Turmus Ayya, but we most certainly understand it. Almost everyday, Palestinian terrorists from Turmus Ayya attack Israelis traveling through the area with Molotovs, IEDs, and whatever else they can get their hands on.
“We will not stand idly by and watch settler violence.”
What utter hypocrisy!
All the U.S. does is sit idly by everyday and watch Palestinian terrorists perpetrate violence against Israeli Jews in Judea and Samaria. Here is a snippet of what happened yesterday:
Shooting attack:
Palestinian terrorists attempted to murder an Israeli motorist between Rihan and the Rihan Junction.
“Rock”, IED, and Molotov attacks:
Palestinian terrorists attempted to murder Israeli men, women, and children on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road near Beit Omer, between Ofra and Givat Assaf (multiple attacks, Israeli wounded), Hawara (bus), at Al Aruv, Road 60 near Ramat Migron (bus), between the Idit Mizrahi monument and the 60 Junction (bus and cars), on Road 465 near Umm Safa, near the Ma’ale Lavona South Junction, on Road 457, between Road 90 and YT2, between Yakir and Emanuel, on Road 465 near Bir Zeit, Road 443 near Beit Horon, at the T-Junction in Gush Etzion, at Turmus Ayya, at the Givaot Junction, in northern Samaria at the Rihan Crossing and at several dozen more locations.
Where is the outcry from the United States?
Where is the outcry from the United Nations?
Where is the outcry from the world?
The world is perfectly happy to stand idly by as Palestinians murder and attempt to murder Israelis everyday.
