Spectacular Photos of the Day Made by Uri Saadia
The eagle which has been nicknamed “The Queen of Samaria” then struck again:
Uri Saadia is described as “an amateur birder”, but his photos certainly don’t seem like those of an amateur.
The News on the Israeli Street
The War in Judea and Samaria.
IDF forces continued operating in Jenin overnight and in Nilin, El Muayyir, Ezaria, and Elarov. 12 wanted terrorists were captured.
Shooting attack:
Palestinian terrorists opened fire on IDF soldiers in Tubas.
IED, “rock”, and Molotov attacks:
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road near Al Aruv, on Road 465 near Deir Abu Meshal, on Road 55 between Azzun and Nebi Elias, on the outskirts of Hevron, and at another 2 dozen locations.
The searing heat wave continues . . .
Scorching temperatures are driving people to the beach or pushing them to stay at home in their air-conditioning.
The above photo shows a situation completely out control. With thousands of orthodox from outside of Ashdod flocking to the beach–many of whom do not know how to swim–and only one or two lifeguards on duty (no station is visible in the photo above) on a black flag day (strong undercurrents), the situation is ripe for disaster.
As for those in the air-conditioning, many of them found themselves without this afternoon. Ashkelon has had power outages for most of the afternoon, and rolling blackouts have been reported elsewhere.
The attempted takeover of eastern Jerusalem continues . . .
We have previously reported how a number of Gulf Arab countries as well as Turkey have been pouring money into the eastern part of Jerusalem.
By establishing, renovating, and funding schools, businesses, and welfare and cultural associations, they hope to gain a foothold in our capital.
The latest country attempting the same is Iraq. This poster was plastered in eastern Jerusalem today:
This is the first time that Iraq has made such an attempt–why the government doesn’t stamp this out is a mystery to your humble servant.

The Terror Attack At Maale Adumim This Afternoon
At 3:35 pm this afternoon, a Palestinian terrorist dressed in the yellow vest of a municipal cleaner entered the seating area of the Diamond Square Burgers Bar in the Maale Adumim Shopping Mall and opened fire with an M16.
5 Israelis were wounded– aged: 40 (critical condition), 29 (serious), 28 (serious), 37 (moderate), 14 (serious). They have all been evacuated to Sha’are Zedek and Hadassah Har Scopus Hospitals.
The terrorist then ran outside the mall. Hiding in the bushes he continued to shoot at passers-by.
An off-duty Border Guard who was going to a barber shop heard the gunfire and rushed to make contact with the terrorist. The terrorist then opened fire on him.
The terrorist was killed when he fled down the street outside.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
