UPDATE 5:00 PM
So many rumors about the hostage agreement are floating about that it is difficult to state with any certainty that an agreement is imminent.
According to the Qatari Foreign Ministry, the Agreement will be signed at 7:00 am tomorrow morning. At 2:00 pm, 13 hostages will be released. Again, this is according to Qatar.
The Israeli government confirms that it has received a list of the 13.
However, other reports are that HamISIS refuses to agree to a specific date for the release of hostages.
Other reports are that HamISIS is demanding immunity from assassination for all its leaders wherever they are in the world.
There will be more developments in the coming hours.
UPDATE 9:00 AM
*The IDF has ordered that the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza be evacuated by noon.
*The IAF attacked 300 HamISIS targets in Gaza yesterday including operational headquarters and combat tunnels.
*The first missile warnings for the North this morning: Sassa (08:59); Betzet, Shlomi (08:52); Arab Al-Aramshe (08:29).
*Interestingly, when Netanyahu, Galant, and Gantz gave their press conference last night about the agreement, they knew that HamISIS had not yet signed it. It is still expected to go forward this afternoon.
UPDATE 8:00 AM
*Here at OneIsrael, we waited on writing a final update last to hear that the names of the hostages to be released today had been given to Mossad head David Barnea in Qatar.
That list was never given and is now not expected until “possibly Friday”. It is not clear what is causing the delay, but what is clear and has been clear is that the war is continuing.
*392 soldiers, police, and first responders have fallen in battle since the war began on October 7th.
Overnight
*Here in Ashdod, we heard endless aircraft roaring overhead and nonstop bombing in Gaza. The booms are continuing as I write this sentence.
*There have already been mortar and missile attacks on southern Israel: Kerem Shalom (05;19), Ashkelon (o6:13).
*The USS Central Command announced this morning that it shot down “many suicide drones” aimed at Israel from Yemen.
*IDF forces are currently operating in Shechem and Jenin. At least 2 terrorists have been killed.
*5 Hezbollah terrorists were killed in an IAF attack in southern Lebanon last night. One of them was the son of the leader of the Hezbollah Party in the Lebanese Parliament. In another attack, 2 Turks and 2 Lebanese were killed in a missile strike.
*Artillery Brigade 454 reports that in the last 47 days, it has fired more than 13,000 shells into Gaza killing hundreds of terrorists.
*According to MADA, since the war began, Israelis have donated 80,000 units of blood—an all-time record.
