UPDATE 6:00 PM

*The next group of 14 Israeli hostages plus 3 others of different nationalities have been moved to the Red Cross. This group is supposed to come through the Erez Crossing because it is believed that they were held in tunnels under northern Gaza. The 14 Israelis include 9 children.

*790,000 liters of fuel went into Gaza today. When the ceasefire ends, we will be bombarded like on Day 1 of the war.

*The international media continues to be nothing short of appalling. Yesterday, the Reuters News Agency posted this:

“Hamas releases 13 Israeli soldiers and four nationals to the Red Cross in a second exchange.”

13 Israeli women and children are now “Israeli soldiers”.

UPDATE 1:00 PM

It has been a quiet morning on both the southern and northern fronts. There has been no firing of any missile from Lebanon, and our soldiers remain in place in Gaza.

200 more “humanitarian” trucks are in the process of entering Gaza. Dozens of these are headed for northern Gaza.

The IDF reported today that 4 of its dogs in the Oketz Unit–Mido, Tyga, Jack, and Gandy–have been killed in battles in northern Gaza. IDF dogs are invaluable in seeking out terrorists and protecting soldiers from threats.

HamISIS has confirmed that the head of its missile array in northern Gaza, Ahmed Randour, and his deputy, Ayman Siam , were killed several nights ago in an IAF bombing.

The Latest about the Hostages

*Back to the HamISIS merry-go-round: the Red Cross has just issued a statement saying that it is unsure that there will be any release of hostages today–despite receiving a list of hostages last night to be released today. Obviously, HamISIS will try to drag out the ceasefire as long as it can.

*Some of the hostages released last night reported that they were restricted to one meal of rice per day–and that, in fact, HamISIS was considering surrender two weeks ago when the food began to run out.  Then, of course, “humanitarian supplies” arrived, and the situation changed.

UPDATE 8:00 AM

Hostage Update

Finally around midnight last night, 8 children, 4 mothers, and 1 young woman were released. 4 Thais were released separately. 195 hostages are still held by HamISIS.

Those released:

Top row, from left: Noga Weiss (18), Shiri Weiss (53), Adi Shoham (38), Naveh Shoham (8), Yahel Shoham (3). Middle row, from left: Maya Regev (21), Noam Avigdori (12), Sharon Avigdori (52), Hila Rotem (13), Emily Hand (9). Bottom row, from left: Shoshan Haran (67), Alma Or (13), Noam Or (17).

Noam and Alma Or ‘s father is still held by HamISIS. Their mother was killed on October 7.

One of the reasons the release was held up was that–in violation of the agreement about releasing mothers and children–HamISIS refused to release Raya Rotem, the mother of Hila Rotem.

As you may remember, Emily Hand was originally thought to be dead.

The Palestinian Terrorists Released

Israel released 39 terrorists last night, 33 older teenagers and 6 women. They were sent home to immediately carry out more terrorist attacks.

Where did they go:  Jenin (9), Bethlehem (7), eastern Jerusalem (6), Ramallah (6), Shechem (5), Hevron (2), Qalqilya (2), Jericho (1), Tulkarm (1):

Note that the most went to Jenin last night–on a night which saw another major counter-terrorism operation there carried out by the IDF and security services. 5 more terrorists were eliminated in the second operation in as many days.
