It has been a quiet day insofar as missiles and mortars fired from Lebanon and from Gaza with only one attack at Hanita (06:25) this morning. The ebb and flow of missiles and mortars has become increasingly random.
On the Ground in the South
Though most attention seems to be focused on the Lebanese border, the fighting on the ground is as intense as ever. We say “on the ground” because IAF activity has markedly decreased.
Here is the most recent statement from the IDF Spokesman a few hours ago:
“The IDF killed dozens of terrorists in Khan Yunis and El Ma’azi, among them commanders in the Najaba force of Hamas; in El Borij, a drone killed a terrorist who shot from a window at our forces.
In El Ma’azi, the brigade combat teams operating under the command of the 36th Division eliminated about 20 terrorists and found many weapons in the last day. Among the terrorists who were eliminated was a commander in the Najaba force of the terrorist organization Hamas.
In Khan Yunis, an Air Force fighter jet attacked a military structure of the Hamas terrorist organization directed by the fire center of the 98th Division and killed seven terrorists. Among them is a commander in the Najaba force who took part in the murderous attack on the surrounding settlements on October 7.
A force of the commando brigade identified three armed terrorists in the city area who came out of the house of a Hamas operative and approached our forces, the fighters of the combat team shot and hit the terrorists.
Also in the Khan Yunis area, IDF fighters located a number of Kalashnikov weapons, RPG launchers and destroyed a weapons warehouse in the last day.
In the Al Buraij area, the soldiers of the 414th collection battalion identified a terrorist who shot at our forces from the window of one of the buildings in the area, the soldiers of the battalion activated a drone towards the window from which the terrorist shot and eliminated him.”
In Yemen
As you know by now, American and British forces attacked launch sites in Yemen overnight with Tomahawk missiles and bombs.
The Houthis said today that 5 of their operatives were killed in the attacks. They have also claimed that they hit a U.S. ship with a surface-to-surface missile this morning.
What you may not know is that multiple reports now state that the U.S. actually informed the Houthis about the attacks beforehand.
Can you believe this? Of course you can, it’s the same pattern Israel has followed to our detriment in Gaza for years.

Two days ago, Dr. Udi Levi, the former head of Mossad’s Zelzal Unit for economic warfare, gave an interview to Epoch Times magazine about Qatar.

“The Qataris are behind every major attack carried out by Muslim terrorist organizations in the world in the last 20 years . . .
The amount of strategic assets that Qatar has acquired in Europe, the US and almost everywhere in the world is unimaginable. From stores and investment companies to the largest banks in the world. They simply buy the world, and along with that they also bribe leaders in every possible way and level, including prime ministers, journalists, the FIFA federation in the World Cup.
Unfortunately, they also buy the Jewish lobby in the USA. In the US, Qatar has the most powerful agents of influence against the administration, both Republicans and Democrats. They are creating a rotten and corrupt world run entirely by money. This is a danger that also threatens Israel . . .
Today it is a total scandal.
After all, who is bringing the humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip? It is a Qatari body called ‘Qatar Charity’ which the State of Israel declared a terrorist organization in 2008, as did the USA.
In other words, both Israel and the Americans are now allowing an organization declared by them to be a terrorist organization to bring humanitarian aid into Gaza. It’s just unbelievable. Then we are surprised that Hamas takes over this aid and sells it on the free market, and this is how they financed Hamas during the war.”
Yes, it is a total scandal.
Speaking Of A Total Scandal
We have the proceedings in the ICC in The Hague today in which Israel is being “tried” for genocide in a case brought by South Africa and supported by numerous countries especially Turkey.
The proceedings today gave Israel a chance to respond to the charges.
Why in the world did Israel ever decide to participate in and give legitimacy to a kangaroo court that has given the anti-Israel world a chance to further demean us?
Sometimes, it seems that Israel has a masochistic tendency that only results in harm to this country.
