On the Ground in the South
From the IDF Spokesman:
“In the center of the Gaza Strip, a squad of five terrorists was identified in the area where the fighters of the Nahal Brigade’s combat team are operating. In a joint operation of the ground forces, the brigade’s fire complex, aircraft, vessels and tanks, the terrorists were eliminated in a short time.
The forces of Division 162 continue to operate in the north of the Gaza Strip and in the center in targeted raids on Hamas terrorist targets.
In the last day, the combat teams of the Nahal Brigade and the 401st Brigade eliminated dozens of terrorists.
In Khan Yunis, an Air Force fighter jet targeted the fire center of the 98th Division and attacked a terrorist infrastructure in which a terrorist squad from the Hamas terrorist organization was operating, prepared to launch explosives against our forces who were operating in a nearby building.
In West Khan Yunis, the combat team of the Givati Brigade continues to raid terrorist targets and eliminate terrorists. In the last day, the fighters eliminated dozens of armed terrorists who ambushed the forces in the areas of the city.
In the activity of the IDF paratroopers, the brigade fire complex directed an Air Force aircraft that scanned the area where the forces were operating and identified a terrorist carrying explosive charges meters away from which the terrorist was eliminated and sub-explosions were identified that testified to the explosive charges in his possession.
Also in the city area, fighters of the 646th Brigade Combat Team raided terrorist targets with intelligence guidance and located Kalashnikov type weapons, sniper rifles, grenades and cartridges. The fighters eliminated ten terrorists with close range fire and aerial fire.
In addition, the IDF attacked terrorist infrastructure used by the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip in the last day using missile ships.”
On the Ground in the North
Israel and Hezbollah continue with intense back and forth attacks. Hezbollah fires missiles and sends drones to attack–a number of Israelis were wounded today; Israel continues to target Hezbollah/Iranian terrorists–killing 2 more today.
Today alone, Israel used artillery to strike Sheba, Al-Dahira, Tair Harfa, Zibkin, Al-Jabin, Nakura, Barakov, Lavona, Nekura, Kharmol, Merkava, Barshia al-Khibriya, and Mays al-Jabal.
On the Ground in Judea and Samaria
During a routine security operation of Border Police fighters in the village of Al-Azariya, the forces checked a suspect. During the inspection, the terrorist pulled out a knife and tried to stab the fighters who responded with accurate fire and killed him.
The Unbelievable News of the Day
*Bank Leumi and the Israel Postal Bank have frozen the bank accounts of two residents of Judea and Samaria. Why? Because the Biden Administration fraudulently decided to prohibit the two from entering the U.S.–and froze their accounts there. In other words, because Biden commanded it and the U.S. Banks followed his command, so have the two Israeli banks.
It is simply unbelievable that Israeli banks would sanction Israelis because the U.S. has. Whatever happened to our self-respect?
*The European Union is going to massively increase its “donations” to UNRWA. Why–in light of all the countries doing the opposite? Because Israel has yet to present the EU with any “solid evidence” (according to the EU Foreign Minister) that UNRWA participated in the October 7 massacres.
It is simply unbelievable that Israel has yet to hand over such evidence to the EU.
*The IDF now estimates that it will take between 1-2 years to completely wipe out HamISIS’ missile capability. Of course, now that there is a drawdown of IDF forces in Gaza the likelihood is that HamISIS missile capability will never be completely eliminated.
It is simply unbelievable. Especially given the fact that the government wants residents of the communities along the Gaza border to return to their homes. Just this morning, Yad Mordechai was hit with missiles again.
*The IDF is now considering employing Palestinians to repair military facilities that have been damaged or destroyed–despite the general ban on allowing Palestinian construction workers into Israel.
Why? Because of “the burden on contractors” who just can’t complete projects without the Palestinians. The IDF says that it “has no choice” but to allow Palestinian workers onto IDF bases.
It is simply unbelievable after what happened on October 7 (when information that was given to HamISIS by Palestinian workers helped carry out the massacres) for this to happen. Why can’t Israel stop its addiction to Palestinian workers?
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
