Special Announcement

To all of our readers who celebrate Easter, we here at OneIsrael wish you a warm and happy holiday.

The Demonstrations Last Night in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem

Unfortunately, in the middle of the wars that we are now fighting, demonstrations erupted in the streets last night.

The riots last night were courtesy of the same old crowd of anti-Netanyahu leftists.

Ostensibly, the demonstrations were supposed to be for the return of the hostages, but even on this point there was considerable disagreement among the 134 families involved–with the vast majority not supporting the demonstrations.

What happened is that the same old crowd of “Kaplan” leftists who were against PM Netanyahu (remember the “Crime Minister” movement), and then against the judicial reform efforts by the government, took over the demonstrations and turned them into an orgy of anti-Netanyahu hatred.

We are back to fires in the streets and blocked streets and freeways.

One of the leftist speakers was Alon Pinkas whom you may remember was the Consul General of Israel in New York and a foreign policy advisor to Shimon Peres and Ehud Barak–and is now a columnist for Israel’s uber leftist newspaper Haaretz.

Pinkas exhorted the crowd with this litany of why PM Netanyahu should be kicked out of office now:

“There is one person who disrespects the hostages, one person who disrespects the IDF, one person who disrespects presidents of the U.S., and one person who clashes with the world.”

To this group of hard core leftists, the hatred of Netanyahu is all-consuming as they hold him responsible for every problem in the country.

And whom do you think is watching these demonstrations and is disgustingly using them for psychological warfare and propaganda? HamISIS’ The Al Al-Din Al-Aksa Brigades released these graphics this morning supporting the demonstrators (be sure to read the English in small font if you don’t read Hebrew or Arabic):

UPDATE 10:00 AM

On the Ground in Gaza

The battle at Shifa is now at the beginning of its second week. Terrorists continue to be killed while trying to escape or in firefights inside the “hospital” compound:

From the IDF Spokesman:

“IDF and Shin Bet forces continue the targeted fighting in the area of Shifa Hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip. The combat teams of the 401st Brigade, the Nahal Brigade and the 13th Naval Forces under the command of the 162nd Division eliminated at close range terrorists entrenched in the area and located weapons in the area of the hospital.

As part of the fire brigade’s activities in the north of the Gaza, the IAF attacked a number of buildings in the area of the Rimal neighborhood, from which anti-tank missiles were launched yesterday and sniping attempts were made at IDF forces. During the attacks, one of the terrorists who carried out the launches was killed.

As part of the activities of the fighters of the Nahal Brigade’s combat team in the center of the Gaza Strip, the fighters eliminated over 15 terrorists throughout the last day. In one of the forces’ activities, the brigade’s fire complex detected a terrorist squad coming out of a tunnel shaft and moving towards a military building near the forces, a fighter jet attacked and eliminated it. In another activity , two snipers from the combat team identified and eliminated through precise shooting, a terrorist squad.”

Yesterday, the IDF also focused on destroying the “Prisoner City” located northwest of the Central Gaza. This 120-dunam neighborhood is home to the terrorists who were released in the Gilad Shalit deal.

Another IAF strike last night took place in the Daraa area of southern Syria. Six terrorists were killed and 20 wounded.

In Judea and Samaria

The PLO policeman who carried out the shooting attack three days ago on Highway 90 in the Jordan Valley turned himself in this morning:

By turning himself in, he can immediately begin drawing a "pay to slay" pension from the PLO.
