Another “Hostage” Has Been Found Dead

Again sketchy information: ZAKA reports that a very badly decomposed body was found outside Sderot. The person was apparently killed on October 7th and was thought to have been held hostage in Gaza. We write “apparently” because forensic test results have yet to be released.

Two More Soldiers Have Fallen In Gaza

Maj.

Maj. Kalkidan Mehari, 37, from Petach Tikva, a fighter in the 223rd Battalion of the Carmeli Brigade fell in central Gaza.

And:

Maj. (res) Ido Aviv, 28, from Karmiel, a fighter in Hasan Battalion 9232, fell in battle in central Gaza.

Maj. (res) Ido Aviv, 28, from Karmiel, a fighter in Hasan Battalion 9232, fell in battle in central Gaza. His family donated all of his organs for transplant.

We published news of Maj. Aviv’s death yesterday, but the information at that time from the IDF was incomplete. Both soldiers were killed in the explosion of a house; three other soldiers were badly wounded. This was the event that we alluded to in this blog two days ago.

May Their Memories Be For a Blessing

          OneIsrael’s Campaign For Our Soldiers

IDF soldiers on the ground need basic protective gear, armaments, and supplies.

Even during the recent Iranian attacks soldiers were forced to lie in open trenches to protect themselves from incoming missiles and drones as they have been doing for months on the Gaza and northern borders.

OneIsrael is now engaged in a campaign to help protect our soldiers. This campaign will extend to Shavuot.

Please consider donating to our campaign by clicking on the donate button in the right hand column on this page. All donations go directly to our soldiers.

Thank you to those of you who have already contributed to the protection of our brave men and women in uniform!

The Quote of the Day

“The evacuation of Rafah has begun and the operation will happen soon. This operation to eliminate the final 4 Hamas battalions will take place with or without a hostage deal.”

PM Netanyahu speaking at a forum held by the “Families of the Heroes” organization.

According to Finance Minister Smotrich, Israel has agreed to return hundreds of thousands of Gazans to Gaza City, to abandon the Netzarim Corridor, to release hundreds of terrorists, and to engage in a “winking agreement to discuss the end of the war.”

Nevertheless, “negotiations” are still continuing over the number of terrorists who will be released from Israeli prisons.

 UPDATE 5:00 PM

On the Ground in Jerusalem

A 34-year-old Turkish tourist who entered Israel from Jordan suddenly pulled out a knife and began attacking Border Policemen in Jerusalem near the Flower Gate in the Old City. He was shot and killed. Click here to see.

On the Ground in Judea and Samaria

A Palestinian terrorist in a van tried to run over soldiers near Barteaa in Samaria. No soldiers were wounded; the terrorist was neutralized.

On the Ground on the Egyptian Border

IDF forces opened fire on terrorist infiltrators on the Egyptian border in the Har Harif area. Details are sketchy, but terrorists were definitely wounded.

On the Ground in the North

*Hezbollah terrorists attacked an IDF Merkava tank near Metulla using guided missiles.

*According to the Lebanese government, Israel has carried out  4010 air and ground attacks against targets in Lebanon since October 7. The 5 villages that were attacked the most are: Aita al-Sha’ab – 339 times, Khula – 311 times, Nakura – 256 times, Alma al-Sha’ab – 241 times, and Tirharfa – 215 times.

The Lebanese also reported/claimed that since 438 people have been killed in Lebanese territory: 337  were military operatives of Hezbollah and other organizations, 100 civilians, and one Lebanese soldier.

Checking on Israel

It is not enough for Israel to kowtow to every Bidenite demand. We also have to checked on like little children to make sure that we are doing what we said we would do.

Tomorrow, U.S. Secretary of State Blinken will visit the Port of Ashdod to “closely examine the activities of bringing in humanitarian aid to Gaza.” In addition, he will also visit the Kerem Shalom crossing for the same purpose.

Unbelievable.
