May Their Memories Be For A Blessing
Sgt. Itay Livny, 19, from Ramat Hasharon, a fighter in Battalion 931, the Nahal Brigade, fell in battle in northern Gaza.
Sgt. Yosef Dassa, 19, from Kiryat Bialik, a fighter in the 931st Battalion, the Nahal Brigade, was killed in battle in northern Gaza.
Sgt. Armiyas McKorio, 19, from Be’er Sheva, a fighter in the 931st Battalion, the Nahal Brigade, was killed in battle in northern Gaza.
Sgt. Daniel Levy, 19 years old, from Kiryat Motzkin, a fighter in the 931st Battalion, the Nahal Brigade, fell in battle in northern Gaza.
It has not been made precisely clear how these 4 soldiers were killed (and two others severely wounded) except to say that they were killed by “an explosive device.” More than likely, this means that they were hit with an anti-tank missile.
You may remember that your humble servant predicted last week that Nahal soldiers would be killed because they are sitting ducks in the Netzarim Corridor between northern and central Gaza.
OneIsrael’s Campaign For Our Soldiers
As seen by the attack this morning in which 4 soldiers in the Nahal Brigade were killed in northern Gaza, the Hezbollah attack several days ago near Metulla in which 2 IDF soldiers were killed and the murderous attack earlier this week at the Kerem Shalom Crossing in which 4 soldiers were killed, IDF soldiers on the ground need basic protective gear, armaments, and supplies.
Even during the recent Iranian attacks soldiers were forced to lie in open trenches to protect themselves from incoming missiles and drones as they have been doing for months on the Gaza and northern borders.
OneIsrael is now engaged in a campaign to help protect our soldiers. This campaign will extend to Shavuot.
So far, you have donated just over $5000–half of our $10,000 goal.
Please consider donating to our campaign by clicking on the donate button in the right hand column on this page. All donations go directly to our soldiers.
Thank you to those of you who have already contributed to the protection of our brave men and women in uniform!
On the Ground in Gaza
*9 missiles were fired by Palestinian terrorists out of Rafah in Gaza at Beersheva this afternoon and more were fired in the last 10 minutes. They were all intercepted; one Israeli was wounded by falling shrapnel from an Iron Dome interceptor.
*Two more mortar attacks (09:48 am, 09;57 am) targeted Kerem Shalom. No Israelis were wounded in either attack.
*The War Cabinet unanimously approved an expansion of the attack on Rafah. Currently, the Givati Brigade is at the gates of the city.
*More nauseating psychological warfare from HamISIS today with this tweet a few hours ago:
Urgent | “Al-Qassam”: “A few days ago, in the last moments, we rescued an enemy prisoner after he attempted to commit suicide in the place of his capture.” “We hold the enemy and Netanyahu personally fully responsible for the deterioration of the physical and psychological health of some enemy prisoners.”
So now, the barbarians would have us believe that Israel and Netanyahu are personally responsible for the deterioration and psychological health of the people that they brutally captured and have held for more than half a year.
Just plain nauseating.
On the Ground in the North
*Kiryat Shmona has been targeted repeatedly by Hezbollah missiles today (17:40, 17:45, 18:30). Suicide drones attacked Beit Hillel, Manara, Tel Hai, and Kiryat Shmona (04:20).
The Tweet of the Day
“The Biden administration tweeted on the first day of the massacre that Israel should not respond and deleted the tweet after I attacked them, and did it again after Blinken’s meeting with a Turkish minister and deleted the tweet again.
The Trump administration brought Iran to its knees after he cut Iran’s oil sales to 300,000 barrels a day.
The Biden administration took care of bringing the Iranians back to life with billions of dollars after lifting the sanctions, and the Iranians today sell 2 million barrels a day
90 percent of Hamas’ funding is from Iran.
90 percent of Hezbollah’s funding is from Iran.
We warned that the money that Biden gives to Gaza will be taken by Hamas. And that’s exactly what happened.
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.
The Absurdity of the Day
The Biden Administration as well as the British government made it clear yesterday that they will not position soldiers on the ground to protect the unloading of “humanitarian” supplies on the new “temporary pier” constructed by the Americans.
Instead, Israel is expected to protect the “aid”.
You may remember that the portable pier has already been attacked twice by HamISIS.
Tremendous Excitement in Israel
Admidst the wars going on in the south and north, Israeli are transfixed by the Eurovision singing contest currently taking place in Malmo, Sweden.
Singer Eden Golan with her song “Hurricane” which describes what happened on October 7th, has made it to the final round to be held tomorrow. We wish her good luck!
On that note we wish our soldiers and you
Shabbat Shalom!
