UPDATE 9:00 PM ISRAEL TIME

Tragic News Out of Rafah

8 IDF soldiers have been killed when their Armored Personnel Carrier  was either hit by an RPG or ran over a mine. The APC was loaded with mines and other explosives in its outer compartments which led to numerous secondary explosions that blew our soldiers apart.

No names have been released yet.

May their memories be for a blessing.

The Egregious Quote of the Day

“The point is this, I made it clear to the Israelis what they will have to do in the near future and what will happen if they don’t do it.”

President Biden in response to this question from a “Tik Tok star” at a meeting at the White House yesterday of “social influencers”: “Why did you sign an additional 26 billion dollars in aid to Israel in the middle of what appears to be an American-funded genocide?”

Yes, President Biden believes that he is also the President of Israel. And why didn’t he respond to the fraudulent “genocide” accusation?

The Results of a Walla! Study

How many residents of Gaza border communities have returned to their homes eight months after October 7th?

50% of the residents who were evacuated from “red” and “non-red” communities  after October 7th have returned (red communities are ones which have yet to be allowed to be reconstructed)

70% of the residents who were evacuated from communities from “non-red” communities have returned.

For example, in Sderot, 5000 residents have not yet returned and are living in hotels and other places. 30,000 have returned.

Mayor of Sderot Alon Davidi said this to the Walla! survey takers:

“As of now, none of the goals of the war have been achieved. All the abductees were not returned, we did not eliminate Hamas and we did not change the security situation in the region, so unfortunately we are currently waiting for the goals to be achieved. The war will end in permanent peace only if the government keeps its promise to the residents and eliminates the terrorist threat from Gaza by eliminating the terrorist infrastructure and eliminating the terrorists and their leaders.”

Davidi could not be more correct.

Shabbat shalom on this tragic day for our soldiers and for Israel.
