The Absurd Photo of the Day

Luxurious toilets, sinks, showers, and even bunk beds for the terrorists who butchered out children, women, and men on October 7.

Luxurious toilets, sinks, showers, and even bunk beds for the terrorists who butchered out children, women, and men on October 7 (photo source: 14 on photo).

In compliance with egregiously abominable Israel High Court of Justice, the Israel prison system is now upgrading its toilet and sleeping facilities for the terrorists we hold. This comes after another order which required an upgrade to the menu they receive everyday.

The Court said that the facilities should be on a par with those of our soldiers.

Can you believe this?

And whom do you think is paying for these upgrades? Everyday Israelis such as those who lost loved ones on October 7, and those families whose soldiers have fallen in Gaza.

The Absurd Quotes of the Day

Last night in a political stunt, Benny Gantz and his partner Gadi Eisenkot delivered a press conference “rebuttal” to PM Netanyahu’s press conference the night before.

The political aspect of the press conference is the fact that Gantz and Eisenkot’s “State Camp” political party has fallen precipitously in the national polls that come out every other day. That fall began when they left Netanyahu’s emergency war cabinet a few months ago and ended up on the outside looking in.

As to the absurdities they offered last night.

Gantz declared that giving up the Philadelphi Corridor is not an existential threat:

“The IDF can use technological means including an underground barrier to block all tunnels.”

Gantz is living in a pre-October 7th world in which Israeli high tech will triumph over all, an arrogance that was utterly refuted by the decidedly low-tech HamISIS barbarians on October 7th. T

The simple fact which Netanyahu correctly embraces is that there is no substitute for boots on the ground.

“The real existential threat is Iran.”

This gem was delivered by an awkward looking Gantz standing in front of a map of the Middle East (meant to contrast with Netanyahu’s graphic about Gaza). Perhaps the idiotic Gantz has forgotten that Netanyahu has spent decades in every conceivable menu warning the world about Iran. Perhaps the incompetent Gantz fails to realize that in dealing with Hamas in Gaza, we are dealing with Iran.

“If Netanyahu is not strong enough to withstand the public pressure in order to return to Philadelphi, he should resign.”

This nugget of nonsense was supposed to refute Netanyahu’ statement that if the IDF leaves the Philadelpi for 42 days, it will never return–a statement that is absolutely correct. If there is anyone in Israel capable of withstanding pressure it is Netanyahu–a pressure that has come from the White House, the European Union, the United Nations, and the leftist sowers of disunity in Israel led by the likes of Gantz and Eisenkot.

In sum, as usual, Gantz and Eisenkot were artless, clumsy and amateurish compared to Netanyahu. Worse, they once again displayed their utter incompetence and misunderstanding of our current situation.

The Ceasefire/Hostage Farce Continues

According to President Biden yesterday, the U.S. is no longer negotiating with Israel but has instead turned its attention to Egypt and Qatar.

A few hours after Biden made his comments, White House spokesman John Kirby added: “We are working with Qatar and Egypt on a proposed deal for the release of hostages, a ceasefire and massive humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza.”

This is what we have come to. Netanyahu and Israel are being sidelined, Hamas doesn’t even attend the “negotiations”, and the U.S. desperately clings to Egypt and Qatar.

UPDATE  10:00 AM ISRAEL TIME

On the Ground in Gaza

**A particularly hideous Palestinian HamISIS terrorist was killed by the IDF yesterday. Ahmed Wadiya paraglided into Netiv Ha’Asara on October 7th to command the terrorists who ravaged the community.

In particular, we remember him from his murder of Gil Taesa who jumped on a grenade thrown by Wadiya to save his family.

After Gil was blown apart, security cameras in the home recorded Wadiya sauntering to the refrigerator, and taking out a Coke and drinking it while the family desperately tried to staunch their wounds amidst the pieces of their dead father.

Wadiya was killed along with 8 other terrorists when their compound near the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza City was bombed.

**The IDF announced. yesterday that it has uncovered 180 tunnels leading from Gaza under the Philadelphi Corridor into Egypt.

So far.

One can only wonder how much money President Sisi and Egypt have made over the years from arms smuggling into Gaza.

**Speaking of tunnels, another 1 km long tunnel was destroyed in northern Gaza yesterday. Unbelievably this tunnel actually had railroad tracks inside.

On the Ground in the North

Hezbollah continues to pound northern Israel. There were 5 barrages of missile and drones yesterday. This morning there has already been a missile attack on Shamir.

As we noted yesterday, Hezbollah is no longer making any pretense about only striking military targets–and instead is resorting to indiscriminate shooting at civilian targets:

One missile hit the Kiryat Shmona cemetery yesterday.

One missile even hit the Kiryat Shmona cemetery yesterday.

On the Ground in Judea and Samaria

The IDF Spokesman:

“The IAF attacked and hit a squad of armed terrorists who fired on the troops during the operation in Tulkarm in the Menashe Brigade.”

Palestinian terrorists carried out other attacks on the Gush Etzion Road near the Halhol Junction, between Avni Hefetz and Einav, at Harmela, at the Zofus Junction, at the Avraham Hasnou Junction southwest of Hevron, and between Gitti Avishar and Ariel Square.
