BREAKING NEWS:

8 Israelis were wounded by two Hezbollah anti-tank missiles in the upper Galilee this morning near Tel Hai.

2 are in critical condition and are in surgery at Rambam Hospital in Haifa; 1 is in serious condition and 5 are in moderate condition at Ziv Medical Center.

UPDATE 9:00 AM ISRAEL TIME

On the Ground in the North

**Following Tuesday’s “pager” attacks, yesterday saw hundreds more explosions in Beirut and elsewhere in Lebanon targeting V82 “personal” radios (aka walkie-talkies), solar systems, and cellphones.

And not just in Lebanon.

And not just Hezbollah terrorists.

Iranian proxy militia members in Mosul Iraq were also killed and wounded by exploding radios.

In the Deir ez-Zor district of eastern Syria, 19 members of the Revolutionary Guards were also killed and 150 injured in the explosion of radios yesterday.

All told in Lebanon and elsewhere, some 6,000 terrorists were wounded (many critically), and approximately 100 were killed. We say “approximately” because there is a discrepancy between official numbers and unofficial numbers. Hezbollah is trying to keep its numbers close to the vest–nevertheless, it just published these photos of some of the Hezbollah members who were killed:

**In addition to the pager and radio attacks, the IAF continues striking Hezbollah targets deep in Lebanon in the Baalbek Valley.

**And Hezbollah keeps pounding northern Israel with missiles and exploding drones. There were 5 barrages yesterday between 11:13 am and 16:44 pm (see IDF statement below) targeting among other areas Tel Hai, Kiryat Shmona, Arab al-Aramshe, Ya’ara Metulla, and Iftach.

The most recent statement of the IDF Spokesman:

” Following the sirens that sounded between 16:39 and 16:44 in the Upper Galilee area, approximately 20 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Some of the projectiles were intercepted.

A fallen projectile was identified in the area of Tel Hai. No injuries were reported. Israel Fire and Rescue services are currently operating to extinguish a fire that erupted due to the fall in the area.

Over the past day, approximately ten projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into the area of the Hermon Mountain and falling in open areas. No injuries were reported.

Earlier today, IDF soldiers identified several Hezbollah terrorists operating in a number of terrorist infrastructure sites in the area of Jibbain in southern Lebanon. The IAF struck the terrorist infrastructure in which the terrorists were operating.

Additionally, the IAF struck a Hezbollah launcher as well as terrorist infrastructure sites in the areas of Halta, Kfarkela, Odaisseh, and Chama in southern Lebanon.”

On the Ground in Gaza

All signs point to a vastly diminished IDF presence in Gaza as units are pulled out and sent north.

There are no divisional movements taking place.

Primarily, our soldiers on the ground seem to be focused on maintaining a presence in and cleaning up the Philadelphi Corridor and the Netzer Corridor.

At the same time, the IAF continues to strike terror targets as they appear. This morning intense explosions are being heard coming from the southwestern part of Gaza.

The only IDF Spokesman’s statement about Gaza yesterday:

“With the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on Hamas terrorists operating within a command and control center embedded inside a compound that previously served as the “Ibn Al-Haytam” School in the area of Gaza City.

The command and control center was used by the Hamas terrorists to plan and carry out terrorist activities against IDF troops and the State of Israel.

This is a further example of the Hamas terrorist organization’s systematic abuse of civilian infrastructure in violation of international law. The IDF will continue to operate against the Hamas terrorist organization in defense of the State of Israel.”

The Farce in the UN General Assembly Yesterday

The pompously absurd U.N. General Assembly voted 124-14 yesterday to demand that:

–Israel withdraw to the 1948-9 Armistice Lines in the next 12 months–in other words, to evacuate all Jews from all Jewish communities and neighborhoods in the Old City of Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.

–all countries immediately cease selling military equipment that can be used in Gaza, Judea, Samaria, and East Jerusalem.

–all Israeli products produced over the 1948-9 Armistice Lines be boycotted.

Of course this whimsical resolution is going nowhere. For example, the thought that even 1 of the nearly 900,000 Israelis living in Judea, Samaria, and eastern Jerusalem will be kicked out of her or his home is beyond ridiculous.

The only countries voting with Israel against this absurdity were:

The United States, Hungary, Paraguay, Fiji, Czech Republic, Argentina, Malawi, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu.

Kolakevod to them–the only voices of sanity in a U.N. gone crazy.
