May His Memory Be For A Blessing
The IDF has informed the family of 86-year-old hostage Shlomo Mansour that he is dead and his body is being held in Gaza. Apparently he was killed on October 7th.
Important Snippets from the News
*President Trump made another dramatic declaration today proclaiming that if ALL the hostages are not released by Saturday at noon, the ceasefire should be ended–and that “all hell” will break out.
*Hamas has announced that it will not adhere to the ceasefire/hostage agreement and will not release any hostages on Saturday.
*Despite the fact that the IDF has decimated Hamas, there are indications that the terror organization is carrying out preparations and training exercises for another October 7th. All the hostages that have been released so far report that they were told repeatedly that another October 7 is about to happen. Moreover, it is revelatory that the residents of 10 Gaza border communities have not been allowed to return home whereas all of the residents of the northern border communities are allowed to return.
*Nevertheless, the lowest number of IDF soldiers are currently in Gaza than have been there since the outbreak of the war.
The 99th Reserve Division (which held the Netzarim Corridor) and the ‘Harel’ Reserve Brigade have left Gaza.
Who is left?
Division 162 still occupies the northern area of the buffer zone and protects the settlements of the northern perimeter – from Mazzikim to Be’eri. The Gaza Division occupies the southern area of the buffer zone and protects the settlements of the southern perimeter – from Be’eri to Kerem Shalom, as well as the Philadelphia axis
*IDF forces in the Rafah opened tank fire on a group of terrorists who were charging toward them. One terrorist was killed.
*The IDF spokesman on IDF actions in the north:
“IAF aircraft conducted a precise intelligence based strike on an underground tunnel crossing from Syrian territory into Lebanese territory that was used by Hezbollah to smuggle weapons in the Beqqa area and has been struck in the past. The IDF is determined to prevent the restoration and use of this tunnel.
Additionally, the IAF struck several Hezbollah sites containing munitions and rocket launchers that posed an imminent threat in Lebanese territory.”
And so it goes in Israel thus far today . . .
