UPDATE 8:00 AM ISRAEL TIME

On the Ground in the North

In Lebanon:

*Despite continuing IDF strikes against Hezbollah forces violating the ceasefire agreement, negotiations continue between Israel, Lebanon, France, and the U.S. Yesterday a mechanism was put in place to begin to talk about settling border issues.

As a show of good faith (and why in the world was Israel required to show good faith and not Lebanon/Hezbollah?), Israel released 5 Lebanese prisoners.

*In the meantime:

*An IAF aircraft twice attacked the Wadi Peron area in the village of Sar in southern Lebanon.

*An Israeli drone attacked a vehicle between Deir a-Zahran and Khomin a-Fuka in southern Lebanon:

*A number of Hezbollah terrorists were identified in the Farun region of southern Lebanon and eliminated.

On the Ground in Gaza

*5 Hamas terrorists were killed in a drone strike near the Netzarim Checkpont south of Gaza City.

*2 Hamas terrorists were wounded in another drone strike in Khan Younis.

On the Ground in Judea and Samaria

*Palestinian terrorists fired 2 “rockets” at a bus on Highway 35 near the Beit Khalil Bridge. No Israelis were physically wounded.

*Palestinian terrorists attacked a vehicle in the Hebron Hills on the Neguhot road near Horsa.

*Palestinian terrorists attacked a vehicle in Oja between Highway 90 and Laitb.

*Palestinian terrorists from Burka attacked vehicles between Homesh and Shavei Shomron.

*Palestinian terrorists attacked two Jewish shepherds near Taysir in the Jordan Valley. They were medically evacuated.

*Palestinian terrorists attacked a vehicle between the Tapuach Junction and Migdalim. A child was wounded.

*Palestinian terrorists attacked a vehicle near Aviatar. Two adults and two children were wounded.

From the IDF Spokesman:

“The operation in Northern Samaria continues: Yamm fighters and Duvdevan fighters under Shin Bet direction eliminated a number of armed terrorists in the Jenin area and arrested a senior member of the terrorist organization in the area; two vehicles armed with weapons to carry out attacks were destroyed.

Fighters encountered a number of armed terrorists who had barricaded themselves in a building in Jenin, and after an exchange of fire, they eliminated two of the terrorists and wounded another. Ten additional terrorists were arrested by the forces, including terrorist Liwa Jaaz, a senior member of the terrorist infrastructure in the Jenin area. Duvdevan Unit fighters operating in Jenin eliminated a terrorist who opened fire on them.

On the Ground in Yemen

*The Houthi leader issued this statement late last night:

“In an hour from now (midnight), a ban on the passage of Israeli ships in the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea at Bab al-Mandab, and the Gulf of Aden will go into effect. Any Israeli ship that enters these areas will be attacked. The new situation will remain as long as the crossings in the Gaza Strip are not opened and as long as aid is not brought into the Strip.”

*Unknown planes attacked the Houthi radar facilities at the port of Al-Hodeidah.

And so it goes this morning in Israel . . . so far . . .
