The Revealing Quotes of the Day From The Israel Police
No. 1
“Find another place to sleep. Stop calling so much, I suggest you look for another place to sleep tonight. I would not be there if I were you.”
The words of an operator in the Jerusalem Police Department in response to an urgent call for help last night.
Yesterday, the Ma’aleh HaZeitim neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem was attacked for over an hour and a half with Molotovs, “rocks”, fireworks, and attempts to burn down the buildings in the compound. When the residents called the Police to come to their assistance, the above message is what they got.
Ma’aleh HaZeitim, which your humble servant has visited many times, is home to some of the bravest Jewish community members in Jerusalem.
The fact that they were thrown under the bus speaks volumes about how the government is willing to concede the area of Jerusalem to the PLO.
No. 2
Last night, a group of women in Samaria came with their children to the Tapuach Junction to demonstrate the conditions in the area.
When they arrived, they were met by police who told them: “If you do not leave and take your children home, we will call Welfare Services to come and take your children.”
Of course, the women refused, and the Police called Welfare personnel who came but were unable to carry out the Police order.
This comes on the heels of the outrageous statement last week from a member of the government that the children of Jewish community members in Judea and Samaria should be put in foster homes.
It is simply disgusting that the Police could resort to this sort of cruel intimidation.

The shocking statement from the IDF . . .
Two days ago, the outgoing head of the IDF Technology and Logistics Division, Brig. Gen. Yitzhak Turgeman, astonishingly revealed that should war break out and enter northern Israel, the IDF is planning to avoid Wadi Ara–and in fact will not cross into the area.
Otherwise known as the “Northern Triangle”, the area is mainly populated by Israeli-Arabs.
That Israel would be willing to steer clear of the area in a war was reiterated by IDF spokesmen this morning.
Concessions on every front is what we have from our IDF and government.
TODAY’S BLOG:
An Unbelievable Return To Oslo
Talk about shocking and astonishing . . . an official Israeli delegation led by Knesset legislator Minister Issawi Frij of the far-left wing Meretz Party departed Israel for Oslo today in order to implement an appendix to the original agreement and thereby revive the Accords.
The delegation has gone with the blessing of PM Naftali Bennett.
Can you believe this?
Of all the disastrous agreements that Israeli has entered into, the Oslo Accords which were engineered by Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres must rank at or near the top of the list.
What an unadulterated catastrophe they were for the country. Between their inception in 1994 and 2007, 169 Palestinian suicide bombers blew more than 1,100 Israeli men, women, and children to pieces in a series of horrific attacks that ripped apart the fabric of Israeli society.
Most of us at least thought that awful experience had rendered the Accords dead and buried, and to hear today that they are being revived is nothing short of incomprehensible.
Step by step, our Concession/Coalition government is leading this country down the road to disaster.
