On the Lebanese front . . .
Following a month of bellicose blathering from Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah, our pusillanimous Israeli government has apparently backed down from our original demands concerning the disputed maritime area off the coast of Israel.
Now, Israel is apparently ready to allow Lebanon to drill in what we had said are “our waters.”
It is simply amazing and even more amazing to hear our Israeli politicians laud the new Israeli proposal as one that will reinvigorate the Lebanese economy.
Reinvigorate the Lebanese economy?
At the expense of our territorial rights?
What else can you expect from a left-wing Israeli government determined to throw our own country under the bus.
The daily Corona update . . .
2,096 Israelis tested positive yesterday (out of 7,386 tested) bringing to 41,733 the number of active patients in the country.
The positive test rate was 28.38%; the coefficient of infection was 0.79%.
346 Israelis are seriously ill; 104 are critically ill—93 of these are on ventilators.
11,377 have died–21 since yesterday.
The numbers speak for themselves.
Very few Israelis are getting tested. It is obvious that Israelis now fall into two groups: those who have both become resigned to getting the virus, and those who are indifferent to getting it.
The positive test rate remains over 25%. The number of seriously and critically ill has risen.

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with Molotovs, “rocks”, and IEDs on Road 5 after the Gitti Avishar Junction, on Road 55 near Nevi Elias, near the Post Junction, between Migdalim and Tapuach, and at dozens of other locations.

It Is Utterly Nauseating
20 years ago yesterday on July 31 2002, Palestinian terrorists blew up the Frank Sinatra Cafe at Hebrew University. 4 Israelis and 5 Americans: Dina Carter, 38, David Gritz, 24, Daphna Spruch, 61, Levina Shapira, 53, David Ladowski, 29, Revital Barashi, 30, and Marla Bennet, 24, Benjamin Blustein, 25 and Janis Routh Coulter, 36 were blown to pieces.
More than 80 others were wounded.
Four Palestinians (Wael Qassem, Wassim Abbasi, Alla Aldin Abbasi, Muhammed Odeh) were arrested and convicted of the murders.
Over the last 20 years, the PLO has paid $2.5 million dollars in salaries to these barbaric murderers.
As of today, Mahmoud Abbas and the PLO Council ordered their monthly salaries increased by some 14% from $2,251 t0 $2,572.
Can you believe this?
The same PLO Chairman that Israeli politicians such as “Defense” Minister Benny Gantz and world politicians including Joe Biden have ludicrously clung to as a man of peace is the same arch-terrorist who pays terrorists who have murdered Israelis and even now increases their pay—and in the process encourages other Palestinian terrorists to slaughter Israelis.
It is utterly nauseating.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, these four terrorists also receive a supplement of 96 per month because they were residents of Jerusalem.
