Importantly and unbelievably, the missile was not intercepted by the IDF, and there was no warning whatsoever to Israeli citizens that it had been launched. Residents of Rahat had no idea about it until they heard a large explosion overhead.

The News on the Israeli Street

The circus returns to Tel Aviv . . .

The usual Saturday evening anti-government protest parades continued last night but in greatly diminished numbers. A group of around 30 managed to block the Ayalon Freeway in Tel Aviv for about half an hour until they were removed by the police.

Here is a photo from one mini parade–this one organized by the group “Pinkfront”:

The sign reads "We are blocking the gates of dictatorship." Yawn . . .

The sign reads “We are blocking the gate of dictatorship.” The gate is the black and white cardboard “brick” structure you see. Yawn . . .

One of the funniest sights of the evening came when two anarchist/leftist groups, Brothers in Arms and Stop the Occupation, brawled with each other on a Tel Aviv street.

Tomorrow, the anti-government movement has vowed to block Highway 1 from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and to close down Ben Gurion Airport. The police have already stated that these attempts will be thwarted.

Another threat on PM Netanyahu’s life . . .

Leftist anti-government “protesters” have become especially fond of desecrating the graves of PM Netanyahu’s father Ben Zion and his brother Yoni.

Three days ago before PM Netanyahu arrived at his brother’s grave, a message threatening to kill PM Netanyahu within 30 days was placed on the grave.

This morning, Shin Bet and the Cyber Unit of the Police announced that they had tracked down and arrested the person who left the message.

Queen, “Another One Bites The Dust”

In excellent news from Samaria, one of the most hideous of Palestinian terrorists, Qadri Abu Bakr–who currently was the PLO official in charge of prisoner (aka terrorist) affairs– was killed last night in a car crash just outside of Ariel.

Fortunately, four other PLO “officials” also died in the crash between two Palestinian vehicles.

If all of that news wasn’t good enough, another infamous terrorist, Mohammed Al-Hadad, a coordinator of Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades and the brother of the commander of the northern Hamas Brigade of Ezz ad Din, also died yesterday under what Hamas called “unclear circumstances.”

Usually “unclear circumstances” refers to such possibilities as “a grenade blew up in his hands”, he was killed by warring clan, or he had a heart attack while fornicating with a mistress.

Whatever the case, another terrorist bites the dust.
