Good News!
One of the ways that the Israeli and international “left” has wiled its way into the fabric of our security establishment (read “police” and “IDF”) is by obtaining permission from the powers-that-be to operate extended leftist seminars which the police and IDF require their officers to attend.
In many people’s opinion, one of the most reprehensible of these organizations is the Wexner Foundation. In this context, it was excellent news this morning to discover that Israel’s Minister of Security Itamar Ben Gvir has put a halt to all Wexner seminars to the Israel Police.

Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis between Adam and Hizma, in Hawara, in Azzun (soldier wounded), Kalkilya (policeman wounded), Beit Omer, between Rimonim and Machmash (4 Israelis wounded), and at many other locations.

Have Times Changed?
The Seychelles Air flight to Tel Aviv that was diverted to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia because of technical difficulties.
127 Israelis were on board.
There was a time when this would have been a great cause for alarm, and in fact, according to accounts from people on the plane, many passengers burst into worried tears when they heard where the plane was landing.
However, when the plane touched down and arrived at the gate, they were warmly welcomed by the Saudis and escorted to a nearby hotel.
There was nothing but politeness all around and concern for the well-being of the passengers.
This afternoon, the back-up plane which arrived in Jeddah from Dubai brought the passengers home to Israel.
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
