UPDATE 10:00 PM (the final update today)
*Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists are still running rampant in southern Israel at this hour. Roadblocks have been set up at every junction to try to intercept terrorists who might be trying to move into central Israel.
*We only mentioned this briefly yesterday, but one of the hardest locations hardest hit by the Palestinian terrorists was a so-called “Forest Party” taking place next out in a field close to Kibbutz Re’im. A Forest Party is one that usually features trance music and dancing. This party had more than 5000 in attendance.
For the last few hours under spotlights, Zaka has been collecting bodies from the Forest Party. So far, Zaka has have recovered the bodies of 260 young people who were barbarically gunned down. It should be also noted that a sizeable number of the hostages were also taken from this party.
*In another sign of solidarity with Israel and in an attempt to deter a Hezbollah attack, President Biden has ordered the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group to the coast of Israel. This group includes the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier, which is the largest warship in the world, as well as the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Normandy, and four Arleigh-Burke-class guided missile destroyers.
And so it goes in Israel on another black night.
UPDATE 7:45 PM
Current information:
750 Israelis confirmed murdered, 2243 confirmed wounded and hospitalized; unknown number held hostage in Gaza (believed to be more than 100). It is now reported that dozens of hostages are Americans.
The IDF has released the names of another 13 soldiers who were murdered yesterday bringing to 57 the number who lost their lives.
Hamas has announced that if the bombing of Gaza does not stop, it will start executing hostages.
Firefights continue in the communities on the border. In the last few minutes a terrorist has been pinned down Misflatim.
Evacuations of people from the border communities has been halted because the IDF has been unable to secure Road 232 out of the area.
Massive missile attacks continue: in the last hour terrorists fired barrages at Nir Yitzhak, Patishm south Ashkelon, Nir Am, Kissufim, Sderot, Sdot Negev, Sha’ar Hanegev, and Ofakim.
UPDATE 4:30 PM
In the last 3 hours:
Horrific news: the official death toll has risen dramatically to 600; there is every reason to believe that the total may reach 1,000. The report we published earlier today from the Zaka volunteer who said he saw hundreds of slaughtered bodies along the road and in houses turned out to be accurate. The official wounded toll now tops 2000. Again, many of these are in critical condition.
Gruesome videos from Gaza show Israeli children in cages and women being assaulted.
There is the constant roar of aircraft in the sky here in Ashdod and the booming coming from Gaza but there is no clear picture of what the IAF is doing in Gaza–except for random reports about “dozens of Israeli aircraft over Gaza” and that Israel trying to take out the Hamas leadership.
A suspected terrorist infiltration is now taking place at Kibbutz Ma’agen Michael.
A terror cell was identified and eliminated in Kibbutz Yad.
4 terrorists were captured in Tel Aviv on Yehuda Halevi Street.
The situation on the Lebanese border seems to be deteriorating. Two Patriot missiles were launched near Tzfat to intercept possible UAVs from Lebanon.
Hamas terrorists continue launching missiles at southern Israel.
UPDATE 1:30 PM
This is what has happened in the last 3 hours:
*Missile barrages have hit Sderot and Kfar Aza.
*A terror squad was killed by Kibbutz Tzalim’s security personnel.
*Three terrorists were killed between Ashkelon and Ashdod on Highway 4 after hijacking a car in the Gaza area.
*The Israel Police have reported that 30 policemen and policewomen were murdered yesterday by terrorists.
*The number of Israelis wounded has been updated to 1,864.
*Hezbollah has rebuilt the outpost on Mt. Dov in Israel that the IDF destroyed earlier today.
*An Egyptian policeman murdered two Israeli tourists on a tour bus near Alexandria.
UPDATE 10:30 AM
So many questions remain from yesterday, but today is not the day to ask them because of the ongoing terror.
A good quote from a former naval commander this morning:
“We have not lose our humanity. The IDF will not attack innocent targets. We will not behave in the same way as these murderers did . . . I think it is realistic to hit Hamas hard to the point of crushing it, the IDF is capable and can do it and should do it. We need to see terrorists killed, unlike the last operations where the number of dead was low. We need to see Hamas killed, and in quantities because that’s how you win a war in the end.”
It is important to note this morning that our Palestinian enemy has no humanity.
The Israeli media and OneIsrael are not showing the barbaric bloody slaughters that took place yesterday. And we are not showing the brutal rapes and beatings of kidnapped Israeli women in Gaza which are now being laughingly displayed all over Palestinian social media.
The simple fact is that we are dealing with ISIS-style animals, and the only way to defeat them is to kill them.
Terrorists remain active . . .
Fighting goes on in 7 locations in communities along the border.
A few hours ago, the Navy spotted a 4 man cell which had come ashore at Zikim and killed them.
As we noted in our first update, terrorists continue to try to enter Israel through holes in the fence. 27 holes in fact. These holes were known to the IDF before yesterday and were supposedly being monitored, but as we now know, there was no monitoring.
The IDF orders evacuations in the south and north . . .
The IDF began mandatory evacuations of all Israeli communities on the Gaza border last night.
At the same time, the IDF has told all residents of the north down to the Galilee that they should evacuate to the central part of the country. This comes as Hezbollah attacked Israeli positions on Mt. Dov this morning with mortars. The IDF not only responded with artillery fire, but also attacked and removed the Hezbollah military outposts that were set up in Israel months ago.

UPDATE 7:00 AM
A new day has dawned in Israel, but the scope of the tragedy that befell Israel yesterday is still unclear.
What we know at this hour:
More than 300 Israelis were murdered yesterday.
More than 1,600 Israelis were wounded yesterday–many critically.
At least 100 Israeli men, women, children, and soldiers were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and taken to Gaza.
Hamas terrorists carried out numerous massacres. 30 citizens were murdered in Sderot. 15 citizens were murdered in Netiv Ha’Asara. An untold number of citizens were murdered in Be’eri and other communities (a 5-year-old girl was just discovered by soldiers hiding in a closet in her parents’ home in Be’eri–her parents were murdered in the room beside the closet).
What we still do not know:
How many were murdered . . . more dead Israelis are being discovered as soldiers retake Israeli communities and comb through the massacres there. A medic volunteer from Zaka has just reported seeing “hundreds of bodies” in houses along the road and on the road itself. This report is unverified.
How many were kidnapped . . . and who . . . reports are still coming in of missing persons, and no attempt has been made to understand how many soldiers and how many civilians were taken.
What is happening at this moment:
Fighting is still taking place in Sderot and Jewish communities as the IDF continues its efforts to eliminate terrorists. It was thought last night that Sderot had been retaken (10 terrorists were killed in the police station) only to discover more terrorists loose in the city. It appears that the hostage situation at Kibbutz Be’eri has been somewhat resolved. Somewhat because even though the hostages have apparently been released, terrorists still seem to be in the kibbutz.
The IDF has just released a statement that “no more hostages are being held in Israel.”
Dozens of terrorists tried to cross the border into Israel in the last few hours and were killed.
Missiles continue raining down on southern Israel. Ashkelon was badly hit overnight with numerous wounded in direct missile explosions. Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon also suffered severe damage from a missile strike. Some 4,750 missiles have targeted Israel so far.
The IAF continues to hit Hamas targets in Gaza, but there is no word on Hamas casualties. Unfortunately, the IAF/IDF appears to be continuing its absurd policy of warning Hamas in advance of missile strikes.
