UPDATE 10:00 PM
Summary As Of Tonight
384 IDF soldiers have fallen in battle (please note that this number is taken from the official IDF Spokesman website and has been posted for 24 hours–we continue to hope that the actual number is 348 and this is a typo).
1,400+ Israelis were murdered (precise number remains unknown because of the number who are “missing”).
5,650 Israelis have been physically wounded.
240 (at least) hostages remain in HamISIS tunnels. It is not known how many are alive and how many are dead.
10,700+ missiles and mortars have been fired at Israel from Gaza. (Note that the official number of 9,500 missiles does not include mortars).
100+ anti-tank missiles and other missiles have been fired at Israel from Lebanon.
The Iron Dome has successfully intercepted 88% of incoming missiles.
The David’s Sling has successfully hit 60 out of 60 targets.

One Squad After Another in Gaza
*In the last two hours, fighters from the orthodox Nahal Brigade identified a terror squad hiding in a mosque and with the help of air support eliminated them all as they ran out toward a tunnel.
*Also in the last two hours, a combat helicopter took out an anti-tank squad that was firing from a hospital.
Other Information
*Follow up to the previous update. The missile that got through in the 5:01 missile volley at this neighborhood in Ashdod hit a car parked on the street a few blocks away. The car exploded but fortunately was empty.
*Just before 8:00 pm, the terrorists in Gaza fired six missiles at Tel Aviv. Residents heard large explosions, but there were no warning sirens.
Why? Because all six missiles hit in the Mediterranean.
Three Companies You Should Support Because They Support Israel
Both Turkey and Jordan announced boycotts of Coca-Cola, Nestle, and McDonalds today. McDonalds here in Israel has been giving free meals to soldiers–and those meals include Coca-Cola and Nestle products.
At the same, time a massive effort has arisen here in Israel to “buy Israeli” and especially to avoid buying anything from Turkey.
UPDATE 5:15 PM
We just had our first missile barrage of the day (5:05 pm) here in our Ashdod neighborhood. Six missiles were intercepted over our house–one missile got through. It’s not clear where it hit.
20 missile launches have been detected from Lebanon in the last half hour. There are no reports of direct hits or casualties.
Quotes of the afternoon
“I will not return to Beeri until the last Hamas terrorists are killed. I did not grow up this way, we were a peace-seeking home. Now I have no mercy.”
A resident of Beeri whose husband and son were butchered.
“You should not come to school wrapped in the Israel flag. It might be considered nationalist and offensive.”
The ultra-leftist superintendent of the Urban D High School in Tel Aviv in an outrageous statement to three students today who came to school with an Israeli flag. Tomorrow, the students are calling on every student in the school to come with an Israeli flag.
Ominous Recruitment
“Ads” have gone up all over Iran today recruiting fighters to join “Hezbollah in Gaza”.
*A Moldovan registered 747-400 plane chartered to Iran has just landed in El Arish, Egypt carrying unknown cargo.
*The IDF has just ordered the immediate evacuation of the A-Rentisi Children’s Hospital–one of the sub-headquarters of HamISIS—warning of impending bombing.
The U.S. government issued a statement this afternoon that it will finance the production of 14,000 new interceptor missiles for the Iron Dome, and 100 launchers.
UPDATE 11:00 AM
From the IDF Spokesman This Morning
*The IDF’s 7th Brigade Combat Team engaged in a firefight at a HamISIS stronghold in northern Gaza. After they killed the terrorists, the fighters found anti-tank launchers, missiles, and intelligence materials inside.
*During the night, the IDF attacked dozens of mortar launchers–the ones that putting our soldiers in peril as sit in staging area on the Gaza Border.
*IDF Division 36 located dozens of terrorists who had barricaded themselves in a building beside the Al-Quds Hospital. An airstrike was called in that not only eliminated them but also set off secondary explosions of the weapons warehouse inside.
*Elsewhere, anti-tank squads were identified and eliminated.
Another Terror Attack in Jerusalem
A Palestinian terrorist wrapped in a Hamas flag tried to stab our Border Policemen at the Qalandiya Crossing. She was shot.
Those Poor Palestinian Civilians–Especially Children
Take a look at the collage above. This is what Israeli soldiers found when they raided a home yesterday in which terrorists were firing at them:
–In the middle is the man’s Israel work permit. You may recall that many of the terrorists on October 7 were people who had worked in the communities before and knew those that they were massacring by name.
–Surrounding the permit are photos of the children holding assault weapons and missiles. Some of them were posed in front of a photo of the Kipat HaSela (Dome of the Rock) in Jerusalem–a favorite photo of every terrorist before he or she tries to murder Israelis. Others are posed in front of a HamISIS banner–again a favorite photo of those who are about to go out and murder Israelis.
“Poor Palestinian civilians”: working in Israel, training their children to be terrorists, owning assault weapons, and probably engaged in firing missiles to try and kill us–and firing weapons at us yesterday.
And the world thinks they deserve “humanitarian” aid?
UPDATE 8:00 AM
It has been heartwarming to see the outpouring of support from around the world. Everyday brings people from the North America, South America, and Europe who want to volunteer to help. Senior citizens who worked on kibbutzes fifty and sixty years ago have returned to volunteer again.
On the Ground in the South
The IDF has been very active overnight eliminating 10 terrorists in Khan Younis, 2 more in Beit Hanoun, and an unknown number elsewhere..
The IAF focused its attacks at the El Shabia Junction in the center of Gaza City.
Mortars and missiles have already hit Nir Oz and Nirim this morning (06:40).
In the North
The IAF destroyed Hezbollah military targets in response to the missile fire yesterday.
In Judea and Samaria
Palestinian terrorists were eliminated in firefights in Sair and Beitonia. The IAF struck a terrorist in Tulkarm.
