The IDF has announced that Tamir Ader (38 years old) of Kibbutz Nir Oz is dead. Tamir was married to Hadas and had two children aged 3 and 7. His 85-year-old grandmother Yaffe was also kidnapped, but was released.
On the Ground in the South
Missiles and Mortars:

Two IDF soldiers were moderately wounded by an IED explosion in Noor Al-Shams near Tulkarm.
