May His Memory Be For A Blessing

Maj.

Maj. Ephraim Ben Amram

Maj. (res.) Efraim Ben Amram, 25 years old, from Masud HaMa’ale, a fighter in the 53rd Battalion, Barak formation (188), died of his wounds after being seriously wounded on June 30 as a result of a Hezbollah drone strike in the northern Golan Heights.

UPDATE 9:00 AM ISRAEL TIME

On the Ground in Central Israel

At 3:00 am this morning residents of Tel Aviv and all of central Israel extending south to here in Ashdod were awakened by a huge explosion.

That explosion took place in Tel Aviv near the American Embassy. An UAV (unmanned drone) exploded, killing a 50-year-old man who was living in a room on top of a building and wounding 10 more.

There was no warning siren.

The Houthis in Yemen were quick to claim credit for the attack, and in fact, we have just heard the incredible news that the IDF “saw” the launch from Yemen and tracked the UAV all the way to Tel Aviv.

Unbelievable.

On the Ground in Gaza

*For the first time in months, an armed terrorist from Gaza attempted to infiltrate Israel in the area of Nahal Oz. He was spotted by alert IDF observers who informed the IAF. Shortly thereafter, he was killed.

*Yesterday was a very good day in ground fighting. To begin with the most famous Palestinian sniper, Ahmed Ismail Al-Aul of the Al-Qassam Brigades was killed in Rafah.

*In a separate attack carried out by the IDF and Shin Bet, an IAF aircraft attacked and killed some 20 Hamas terrorists from the Shati Battalion, including some who carried out the October 7th massacres and a contingent of snipers including Muhammad Abu Hatab, a platoon commander in the Battalion, who was  a sniper.

*Elsewhere, HamISIS terrorists firing RPGs attacked a “humanitarian aid” convoy being secured by IDF troops. One soldier, a Givati fighter, was “moderately” wounded. Again, we ask the question here at OneIsrael: why in the world has humanitarian aid dispersal become the responsibility of the IDF?

On the Ground in the North

Even as Hezbollah was launching more missiles into northern Israel (4 barrages between 5:30 pm-7:30 pm), Israel eliminated another Hezbollah commander of the elite Radwan force, Ali Jaafar Maatuk, in a predator drone strike near Hajir in southern Lebanon.

The Poor Ukrainians

This morning a 1000 ton shipment of wheat is arriving from Ukraine to Gaza.

Next week a 7000 ton load of wheat and 750 tons of oil are arriving.

Another “Plague”?

17% of blood donors in Israel this week were found to be positive for the Nile fever virus.
