May Their Memories Be For A Blessing

Maj. (res) Yohay Hay Glam

Maj. (res.) Glam, 32 years old, from Netanya, was a fighter in GDSSR 6310 Unit. He fell in battle in central Gaza.

Aryeh Zalmonovich

The body of 85-year-old Aryeh Zalmonovich who was taken hostage at Nir Oz on October 7 was “rescued. He was murdered last December while he was in a tunnel with Fadi Al Qadi. Fadi says that his “Jewish friend” died because he was denied medicine.

The Quote of the Day

“It is not our job to take care of the civil humanitarian effort in Gaza and to help those who brutally murdered and kidnapped our sons and daughters. The security system is stuck at October 6.”

Avigdor Liberman head of Yisrael Beiteinu

How right Liberman is. How did we ever get to a position where the government assumes control over “humanitarian” distribution of goods in Gaza?

Especially when hostages like Aryeh Zalmonvich were deliberately killed by denying them humanitarian medication.

On the Ground in Judea and Samaria

As we reported yesterday, the IDF launched a broad attack on terror organizations in Judea and Samaria. More specifically they are attacking terrorist battalions in Jenin, Nur al-Shams (Tulkarm), and Fara’a in Tubas.

According to the IDF spokesman:

“After an exchange of fire yesterday, IDF fighters under the direction of the Shin Bet killed five terrorists, including the head of the terrorist organization in Nur al-Shams, Muhammad Jaber, aka”Abu Shaja’a”.

Jaber had eluded numerous IDF assassination attempts . . . before yesterday.

**In yet another egregious move, the U.S. State Department and Department of the Treasury announced new sanctions against the Hashomer Yosh organization–whose sole purpose is to protect Jews in Judea and Samaria.

On An Archaeological Note

Archaeologists announced that they have discovered an extremely rare “stone seal from the time of the First Temple, bearing a name in ancient Hebrew script and a figure with wings, It was found at the City of David in Jerusalem.

One Final Note

The hostage who was rescued yesterday, Farhan Al Qadi did not endear himself to many Israelis after he went home. Once there he held a press conference in which he declared that he considered himelf “a Palestinian not an Israeli”, and even went on to compare Israeli hostages still languishing in the tunnels to Palestinian murderers in Israeli prisons.
