May Their Memories Be For A Blessing

Sgt. Ariel Sosnov (Shashunov), 20 years old from Jerusalem fell yesterday in battle in Lebanon.

Sivan Sde, 18-year-old from Kfar Masrik, was killed in a Hezbollah missile barrage yesterday when he went out to irrigate crops on his kibbutz. His body was riddled with shrapnel.

Again, may the memories of Ariel and Sivan be for a blessing.

On the Ground in Judea and Samaria

There has been another attempt to run over our soldiers today–this time at Kfar Anta. Fortunately, the soldiers were uninjured and the terrorist was killed.

On the Ground in Gaza

The bodies of Nochva terrorists who were killed on October 7 last year were found yesterday in Kibbutz Nirim. Laborers engaged in earthworks during the kibbutz restoration discovered remains of bodies. The remains were sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, where they confirmed that they were the bodies of Hamas terrorists.

The Deportation Law In the Knesset Today

The bill states that if the Minister of the Interior was under the impression that a family member of a terrorist knew in advance of his plan to commit an act of terrorism and did not make all the necessary efforts to prevent it, he is entitled to order the deportation of that family member to Gaza, or to another deportation destination that he determines according to the circumstances.

The Knesset the second and third readings of the law by a vote of 61-41.

Can you believe that there were 41 Knesset members that opposed this law?
