UPDATE 11:00 PM

Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Memorial Day) has arrived in Israel with all the sadness that it always brings.

That sadness has been compounded with news that the mortar fire at the Kerem Shalom Crossing earlier today took the lives of 3 Israeli soldiers. We will have more about this tomorrow.

Let their memories and the memories of all of those who were perished in the Holocaust be for a blessing.

UPDATE 7:00 PM

The Graphic of the Day

HamISIS Palestinian terrorists fired 10 missiles out of Gazan Rafah at the Kerem Shalom Crossing

HamISIS Palestinian terrorists fired 20 mortar bombs out of Gazan Rafah at the Kerem Shalom Crossing at 1:45 pm this afternoon.

Just as the HamISIS “negotiating team” was leaving Cairo today without agreeing to the latest Egyptian proposal, Palestinian HamISIS terrorists put an exclamation point on the HamISIS refusal by firing a barrage of 20 mortar bombs from Rafah at the Kerem Shalom “humanitarian aid” Crossing and at Kibbutz Kerem Shalom.

The unconfirmed reports are that 2 people were killed and 10 more wounded at the Crossing:

Homes were hit but there were no casualties in the Kibbutz.

    OneIsrael’s Campaign For Our Soldiers

IDF soldiers on the ground need basic protective gear, armaments, and supplies.

Even during the recent Iranian attacks soldiers were forced to lie in open trenches to protect themselves from incoming missiles and drones as they have been doing for months on the Gaza and northern borders.

OneIsrael is now engaged in a campaign to help protect our soldiers. This campaign will extend to Shavuot.

Please consider donating to our campaign by clicking on the donate button in the right hand column on this page. All donations go directly to our soldiers.

Thank you to those of you who have already contributed to the protection of our brave men and women in uniform!

On the Ground in the South

As stated in the above reportage concerning Kerem Shalom, the “hostage/ceasefire” negotiations in Cairo have ended with no agreement.

Now we have HamISIS representatives returning “home” for consultations, and the American CIA head frantically rushing to Doha Qatar for emergency consultations with the Qataris.

After the latest HamISIS rejection of the incredibly generous Israeli terms and the Kerem Shalom attack, there are many indications that an Israeli assault on Rafah is near.

*Meanwhile, the IDF and IAF have continued a wide range of attacks in Gaza including:

–an attack on the terrorist building in Rafah from which the mortar bombs were fired at Kerem Shalom (6 terrorists killed).

–artillery and IAF fire on terrorists in Jabaliya, Gaza City, Nuseirat, and Zeitoun.

On the Ground in the North

Hezbollah has fired 85 missiles into northern Israel thus far today. Miraculously, no Israelis have been physically wounded. At the current time, Metulla and Manara are without electricity.

The IAF has struck Hezbollah targets in Kfar Kela, Markaba, and Taybeh.

Al-Jazeera Finally Closed

Following a long awaited vote in the Cabinet today, Al-Jazeera operations have been closed down in Israel.

Subsequently, the offices of  Qatari “news” channel were raided by the Israel Police.

The vote and the raid should have happened six months ago.
