At least 7 rockets have been fired out of Gaza in the last 12 hours. Fortunately, none of them have caused physical injuries though the emotional distress cannot be measured. In the last hour, the IAF has hit “launching sites” (empty land) and “training bases” (empty buildings) in Gaza. Ironically, most of the rocket fire has come from locations that Ariel Sharon ordered evacuated of all Israelis back in 2005.
In Jerusalem, terrorists assaulted students at Hebrew University with Molotov cocktails; at Rachel’s Tomb, an improvised bomb was thrown at Israeli security personnel; and on Road 443, there have been numerous reports of “rock” throwing at Israelis.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem has been the scene of another installment of the Theater of the Absurd today.
It turns out that today is Mawlid al-Nabi, otherwise known as Muhammad’s birthday. To mark the “holiday”, the Islamic Wakf–in collusion with the Jerusalem Police–decided to close the Temple Mount to all Jews.
