**”Spring time” arrived in Israel last night with the clock moving ahead one hour.

Yesterday he issued this statement as if he was still campaigning: “The Zionist Union is not a pawn in the game of running to destroy the state of Israel that Netanyahu and Bennett are playing.”

**As the U.S. continues to rush headlong into a nuclear agreement with Iran, Iran continues to support the Houthis in Yemen with weapons, money, and manpower. Some of that manpower includes Hezbollah fighters from Lebanon who have been brought in to organize the Houthis into a more effective fighting force.

The Gulf of Aden, and particularly the Straits of Bab-el-Mandeb are crucially important to Egypt because ships sail through there to reach the Suez Canal.

This week, the outgoing commander of the IDF Central Command, Gen, Nitzan Alon, signed a military order authorizing that Amendment 39 of Israel criminal law will be applied to Palestinians.

The net effect of the order is to afford more rights to Palestinian defendants who heretofore had been subject to Jordanian law. Now, Palestinians defendants can avail themselves of such elements of Israeli law as consideration of “criminal intent” as well as various exemptions from criminal liability such as insanity and the lack of criminal liability of minors under 12 years old.

And as bad as the extension of more rights to Palestinian terrorists and criminals may be, the annexation of Area C of Judea and Samaria to Israel is a very good thing.
