**A major terrorist event was averted on the Israel-Syria border last night when the IDF intercepted four terrorists who were attempting to place an IED on the Israel side in order to blow up an Israeli patrol.
All four terrorists were killed in an ensuing air strike. It appears at this point that the terrorists were Syrian Druze who had been recruited by Hezbollah to carry out the attack.
The interception follows Israeli attacks on Saturday targeting Hezbollah and Syrian missiles and missile launchers in the al-Qalamoun region near the Syria-Lebanon border.
**Palestinian violence continues unabated in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria. One hour ago an Israeli motorist had his truck firebombed near Hawara.
**At 4:13 pm this afternoon, Palestinian terrorists fired another missile into the Mediterranean Sea.
**The election goes on. As of this moment, a recount is taking place by the Election Commission at the demand of the Yachad party which fell 10,000 votes short of reaching the 3.25% threshold. Yachad’s leader, Eli Yishai, charges that his party was the victim of extensive fraud. Will this recount result in any changes? It is very doubtful.
