**In a move that CNN described as “connected to Israel-US tenstions”, the Obama White House outrageously welcomed the “heroic 16-year-old Tariq Abu Khder” into the White House yesterday.
Khder’s “heroism” stems from the fact that during riots in eastern Jerusalem last July, Khder–a U.S. citizen– was kicked and punched while on the ground by an Israeli Border policeman. How he got on the ground in the first place or what he was doing in the riots has never been established.
But never mind those “little” details.
The point is that Khder is an Obama Administration darling as is CAIR–whose representative Hassan Shibly accompanied Khder to meet with Obama officials. Shibly announced while in the White House that CAIR and the Khder family will likely file a civil lawsuit against the Israel police.
But let’s go back for a moment.
What about all of the American citizens who are being murdered by Palestinian terrorists in Israel? Why aren’t their families being invited to the White House? Is it simply that in order to get the Obama invitation a victim must be an Arab and not a Jew?
Think about 16-year-old Naftali Frankel–one of the three Jewish Israeli teenagers brutally murdered last June. Frankel was an American citizen.
Think about 3-month-old Chaya Zissel Braun who was murdered in Jerusalem on October 22 last year. Braun was an American citizen.
Think about Moshe Twerksy (60), Aryeh Kupinsky (43), and Kalman Levine (55) who were butchered in November last year in a synagogue in Jerusalem. They were all American citizens.
TODAY’S BLOG
A leading “human rights” organization, The Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) published its annual report today.
The results of the report are damning.
Describing the human rights situation in the Palestinian territories and in the Palestinian state of Gaza as “the worst” in years, the ICHR report details hundreds of cases of torture, Palestinians dying while in administrative detention, and the removal of prisoners from their cells in order to carry out extrajudicial executions.
In addition, the ICHR has called for investigations into “harassments and violations” that occurred at recent student elections at Birzeit University, the abuse of Palestinian prisoners held in jails, the use of excessive force by the police in a number of incidents such as the town of Khuza’a, escalating vigilantism in the Palestinian territories, and the inability of independent observers to visit prisoners in jail such as Enad Muhammad Khalil at the “Ramallah Rehabilitation and Correction Center.”
The list goes on and on.

Oh, and did I forget to mention something?
It might be important to mention that The Independent Commission for Human Rights is a Palestinian organization investigating Palestinian violations of Palestinian human rights.
—The hundreds of cases of torture are cases in which Palestinian “police” are torturing Palestinian prisoners.
—The Palestinians dying in administrative detention are Palestinians who are dying in Palestinian jails after being detained by Palestinian police .
–The prisoners being extrajudicially executed are Palestinians being executed by Palestinians (specifically the Hamas murders of 16 prisoners).
–The harrassments and violations at BirZeit University were carried out by Palestinians.
–The abuse and excessive force is being carried out by Palestinian police.
–The inability to visit and observe Palestinian prisoners is a Palestinian denial of visitation rights taking place in Palestinian jails run by Palestinians.
You might want to remember this ICHR report the next time you hear someone ranting about supposed Israeli abuses.
