Pope Francis and the Vatican Embrace Mahmoud Abbas As An “Angel of Peace”

**Shortly after an Egyptian court handed down a death sentence to former President Morsi today, Muslim terrorists ambushed a car and killed three judges and one prosecutor in the Sinai.

The attack took place in El-Arish–about 90 km from the Gaza border. Egyptians have immediately concluded that the attack is the work of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.

**Of course no one is listening, but Turkish President Erdogan and Prime Minister Davutoglu have been busy in recent days calling for a Muslim takeover of Jerusalem.

Two of the world’s arch terrorists: Rouhani and Erdogan. So what were they talking about in Tehran? One subject was a Muslim campaign to take Jerusalem.

Erdogan was in Tehran meeting with Iranian president Rouhani, and had this to say:

“[All Muslims should] lift their hands in supplication to Allah this blessed night to return control of the Muslims in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and remove the mist from their eyes, they see Jerusalem every moment and every opportunity. “

To which Davutoglu added a few days later: 

“Jerusalem belongs to the Muslims, not Jews . . . Jerusalem is our home and our Jerusalem.”

Pope Francis’ nauseating embrace of Mahmoud Abbas as an “angel of peace” in the Vatican today.

Some days your humble servant just just wants to wail at an Orwellian world turned upside down. 

Let’s stroll down memory lane for a moment today and remember just a few of the wonderful things that Mahmoud Abbas has done in his life.

*In the 1950s, Abbas received his “Candidate of Science” degree at Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow in 1958. His dissertation was entitled “The Other Side: The Secret Relationship between Nazism and Zionism”. Its  main topic was how Jews had exaggerated the Holocaust.

*In the 1960s, Abbas was Yasser Arafat’s right hand man in setting up the Palestine Liberation Organization and heavily participated in hijackings and murders of Israelis.

*In the 1970s, Abbas was the “money man” who funded the Palestinian terrorists who butchered Israelis at the Munich Olympics in 1972.

*In 1985, Abbas was intimately involved in the Achille Lauro hijacking and murder of Leon Klinghoffer–and went into hiding in Yugoslavia to avoid being arrested. In the latter part of the decade stretching into the 1990s, he helped organize and run the first Palestinian “intifada” which focused on shooting, stabbing and bombing Israeli citizens.

*In the 2000s, Abbas played an integral and far-reaching role in organizing and carrying out the second Palestinian “intifada” during which more than a thousand Israeli men, women, and children were blown to pieces in 169 suicide bombings.

*For the better part of the last decade, Abbas has autocratically and corruptly ruled Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria. He and his family have allegedly pocketed millions of dollars in the Palestinian scam of receiving international donations.  Abbas has been the man who daily proclaims that Palestinians will never recognize Israel as a Jewish state and that every Palestinian so-called “refugee” has a right to live in Israel.

Given Mahmoud Abbas’ vicious history of killing Jews, is it any wonder that he was embraced by Pope Francis yesterday with warm hugs and kisses? And is it any wonder that Pope Francis lovingly called Abbas “an angel of peace”?

Doesn’t it just want to make you throw up?

Abbas’ message of never recognizing Israel as a Jewish state and seeking to obliterate it by settling 5,000,000+ self-proclaimed Palestinian refugees in Israel is also the message of the Vatican of Pope Francis.
