Today, your humble servant offers you four little tidbits of information that have been reported in the last 24 hours about Gaza. Even a kindergartner would have no problem putting 2 and 2 together–but apparently PM Netanyahu and “Defense” Minister Moshe Ya’alon cannot.
Item 1:
The Qatari Chairman for the Rehabilitation of the Gaza Strip (can you even believe that Qatar has such a post?), Mohammed el-Imad held a press conference yesterday in which he said that “Israel has accepted all reconstruction projects in Gaza funded by Qatar” and that construction materials and equipment are flowing into Gaza on “daily basis.”
Qatar, you will remember, is the terrorist country that funded–and funds–the underground tunnel network in Gaza along with its remote controlled missile launch system.
Item 2:
As you will recall from previous israelstreet blogs, anti-tank berm and tunnel construction are now going on full speed in Gaza in full view of we Israelis across the border.
But that is not all.
Hamas has also been hard at work paving a road 300 meters from the Gaza border fence–again in full view of Israeli soldiers and civilians.

Yesterday, Hamas leader Fathi Hamad (formerly Hamas Interior Minister) brazenly commented that Hamas’ military wing is building the road “in preparation for an opportunity to attack Israel”.
Item 3:
There has been scant talk in the Israel media about the possibility that the most recent Hamas missile attack on the Ashdod-Be’er Tuvia area “featured” a new Hamas missile that the Gazan missile laboratories have been hard at work on.
Yesterday, Hamas unveiled that new missile to the public in a ceremony honoring a Hamas terrorist who just died from his injuries in the last war.

Today, Israel and Hamas announced that Israel has now agreed to supply Gaza with “unlimited fuel” through the Kerem Shalom Crossing. The idiots in the IDF COGAT unit have proudly announced that “the Gaza fuel crisis is over!”

Israel is supplying “construction materials and equipment” into Gaza so that Hamas can build attack roads into Israel–and missiles with which to attack Israel. And Israel is supplying fuel to Gaza to run the “construction equipment” and launch the missiles.
