**According to new statistics, nearly 70% of all orthodox Jewish women in Israel are now in the Israeli work force. Not surprisingly, the same statistics show that this surge in employment is unfortunately bringing the orthodox birthrate down.
**Now that the Assad government in Syria finds itself in real danger of complete collapse, Iranian Gen. Qassem Suleimani (see previous blog) has been called in to save the day. This morning, Suleimani pledged to “surprise the world” at what the Iranians and Syrian Army are planning for the “rebels” (“rebels” has become a catch-all terms for groups affiliated with IS, al-Qaeda, Sunni militias, and pretty much anyone else opposed to Iran, Hezbollah, and Assad).
News reports out of Lebanon and Syria today have Israeli jets attacking targets in eastern Lebanon and in southwestern Syria. Whether these reports are true is anyone’s guess.
**Great news! (NOT) The U.S. State Department declared today that John Kerry’s broken leg surgery will not impede talks between the U.S. and Iran on the Iranian nuclear weapons program.
Maybe Kerry will be able to comment from his hospital bed about the IAEA report today that Iranian nuclear fuel stockpiles have grown by 20% during the last 18 months of nuclear “negotiations”–during a time when President Obama has claimed that those stockpiles have been frozen.
The Iranians are already saying that the end-of-June deadline may be unrealistic, and that yet another (how many have there been over the years?) extension may be needed.
**More great news! (LOL) President Obama declared yesterday that a poll now shows that the world now respects the U.S. more than any other nation–a respect that Obama says is due to his presidency.
Respect? Really? What about Russia and China and Egypt and Saudi Arabia and a hundred other countries?
Obama is truly delusional, and has become a legend in his own mind.

Thank goodness for our new government and its new focus on battling organizations that demean and delegitimize Israel.
This morning, Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely has declared war on “Breaking the Silence”, a hideous anti-Israel NGO whose entire existence is devoted to slandering the good name of the IDF and promoting criminal cases against individual IDF commanders and soldiers.
Specifically, Hotovely is urgently marshaling Foreign Ministry sources to go after a Breaking the Silence “exhibition” scheduled to take place in Zurich during the coming week. This is the kind of action that our Foreign Ministry should have been taking for years.
As we all should know by now, “Breaking the Silence” is an anti-Israel NGO that has grown rapidly in recent years in terms of international exposure. The organization purports to bring together former, disgruntled, IDF soldiers who are paid for telling how they “mistreated” our Arab enemies in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza.
