**Palestinian terror in Israel:
Southern Israel near Sha’ar Hanegev was rocked by at least two missiles from Gaza yesterday afternoon at 4:46 pm. We had the usual IDF claim that “it was a false alarm” but numerous residents reported hearing the nearby explosions. They were even heard here in Ashdod.
In Jerusalem, the Light Rail train system was struck numerous times during the night near the Shuafat stop–with heavy damage to its cars. Passengers on board had to be treated for trauma.
Six Palestinian terrorists were captured in Judea and Samaria overnight.
**The Nobel Peace Prize Committee gushes information:
Believe it or not, word comes from Swedish Nobel authorities today that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian FM Javad Zarif have already been nominated for the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize.
This from a Peace Prize Committee that lost all credibility 6 years ago (2009) when it named Barack Obama as Prize recipient and 8 years ago (2007) when Al Gore was its Prize winner.
The Kerry-Zarif nomination calls again to mind how much the Nobel Committee has degraded over the years. Think back to 1938–at least the Nobel Peace Prize Committee had the integrity back then not to award the Nobel Peace Prize for that year to British PM Neville Chamberlain and German FM Joachim von Ribbentrop for the Munich Agreement.
Those Nobel Committee members could apparently recognize appeasement when they saw it.
**Guess who were the first two to criticize Israel yesterday for its stand against the agreement?
Not surprisingly, John Kerry went straight on the attack (he can’t let that Nobel Prize slip away) accusing PM Netanyahu of being “over the top” in his criticism.
Next up, shades of Munich, were the Germans with German FM Steinmeier declaring that “This is a responsible deal and Israel should also take a closer look at it and not criticise the agreement in a very coarse way.”
**What are the chances of the agreement being stopped in the U.S. Congress?
Not good. Almost certainly the vote will go against Obama in the first phase. Only a simple majority is required in the Senate and in the House to reject the agreement. However, after Obama vetoes the congressional rejection, then a “super-majority” of 2/3 will be required to override his veto.
For example, 67 senators would have to vote against Obama’s veto. Since there are only 54 Republican senators, 13 Democratic ones would have to also vote against Obama. That is almost certainly not going to happen.
**Meanwhile, Iran wasted no time in extending its reach yesterday.
Units of its Revolutionary Guards entered Lebanon for the first time to fight along its beleaguered proxy Hezbollah. IS has been making major gains in the Qalamoun Mountains along the Lebanese-Syrian border.
Some reports yesterday indicated that two high ranking Iranian military officers have been killed in the last few days, a general close to Iranian commander Suleimani (see below) and a colonel.
TODAY’S BLOG:
It is impossible today to not write about the agreement that was signed yesterday between the United States, its lackeys, and Iran. As stated above, the agreement recalls the Munich Agreement of 1938. Lust for power, terror, takeover of land, hatred of Jews: everything that characterized Germany in 1938 characterizes Iran today.
And just like the Western countries gave Hitler and Germany everything they wanted at Munich so have the Western countries now given Ali Khamenei and Iran carte blanche to fulfill their regional and global ambitions.

It is no understatement to say that, just in 1938, the world has been made a considerably more dangerous place. We will certainly see Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan accelerate their own nuclear programs.
The sheer scale of what has been handed to Iran is shocking even to those of us who knew a bad agreement was coming, but this morning your humble servant is going to limit himself to just a short list of the four most egregious concessions.
1. Iranian nuclear facilities.
Despite what you hear President Obama, John Kerry or any other appeaser tell you, remember that this agreement allows every Iranian nuclear facility to remain operational. Even Iran’s underground facility at Fordow and its plutonium facility at Arak–which exists for no other reason than to create nuclear bombs– will both continue to operate.
2. Inspection of Iranian nuclear facilities.
Despite what you hear President Obama, John Kerry or any other appeaser tell you, remember that this agreement makes of mockery of inspections. Every inspection is now subject to Iranian approval–and it has 24 days to approve or reject an inspection request. There is no such thing as an unannounced visit, no such thing as unfettered access.
Military sites, including Iranian missile bases, are specifically off-limits.
Outrageously, President Obama claimed yesterday that every way for Iran to obtain a nuclear weapons has been removed because Iran has promised: to remove 2/3 of its centrifuges, to not use its advanced centrifuges for 10 years, to limit its stockpile of enriched uranium and plutonium for 15 years, and to only enrich uranium to 3.67%.
Again, every single Obama point is based on an unverifiable Iranian promise.
3. “Break out” time.
Despite what you hear President Obama, John Kerry or any other appeaser tell you, Iran’s so-called “break-out time” (the time it will take for it to make a nuclear bomb if it does not already have one) has barely increased if at all.
Remember, that when the whole “negotiation” process started, the breakout time was supposedly two months. According to Kerry yesterday, it is now 12 months. According to American Vice President Biden a month ago, the time is still 2 months.
4. Removal of sanctions.
Despite what you hear President Obama, John Kerry or any other appeaser tell you, the sanctions are gone. Corporations and businesspeople are arriving in Tehran this morning.
And not only sanctions against Iran, but also sanctions against individual Iranians such as Gen. Qassam Suleimani–the head of the Revolutionary Guards. Iran will now have virtually unlimited money to fund its terrorism in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Africa, Latin America, and Europe.
All things considered, is it any wonder that the Israeli security cabinet voted last night to reject the U.S.-Iranian agreement? And is it any wonder that after a week of chanting “Death to Israel” in the streets of Iran, the protesters topped it off by handing out backlava and other sweets after hearing of the agreement?
