**The daily Palestinian terror report . . .
There have been more than 40 separate instances of Palestinian terrorism in the last 24 hours which involved attempted stabbings, Molotov cocktail attacks on homes and cars, and “rock” assaults on anything Israeli. At least 3 Israelis have been physically wounded–and an untold number have suffered from emotional trauma.
The most serious attacks took place in and around eastern Jerusalem and in Hebron.
**And the newest Iranian proxy will be . . .
Iran now has Hezbollah on Israel’s Lebanese and Syrian borders (in addition to Iranian Revolutionary Guards) and Hamas on Israel’s southern border. All that’s missing is Iran to Israel’s east.
It was announced this morning that Mahmoud Abbas, PLO Chairman and unelected president of the “Palestinian Authority” in Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria, will be heading to Tehran in the next two months in order “to strengthen the ties between the two countries.”
It turns out that senior Palestinian leader and Abbas confidant Mohammed Majdalani met with Iranian FM Zarif yesterday.
Do you smell Barack Obama and John Kerry in all of this?
**The most disingenuous quote of the day . . .
Speaking of Barack Obama, the U.S. President spouted this garbage yesterday:
“There’s going to have to be a transition inside of Iran, even if gradual, in which there’s a recognition that chanting “death to America” of denying the Holocaust of threatening Israel with destruction, or you know, providing arms to Hezbollah, which is on the terrorist list–that those things make Iran a pariah in the eyes of a large part of the world.”
In other words, it’s not really necessary now for Iran to stop chanting death to America or to stop denying the Holocaust or to stop threatening Israel with destruction or to stop providing arms to Hezbollah–there just has to be a “gradual recognition” that these things are not good.
Doesn’t it make you want to throw up?
And oh by the way, who is it that is fighting tooth and nail to free up Iranian money so that Iran can provide arms to Hezbollah and other terrorist entities? And who is it that has succeeded in taking Iran off of the pariah list?
The answers to these questions are two words: “Barack Obama.”
**The Israeli Left never gives up . . .
You may remember back in February and March that israelstreet identified Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein and Comptroller Joseph Shapira as two of the “hydra heads” that were doing everything within their power to see that Likud was defeated and that Herzog/Livni would be elected.
The two worked in tandem to release endless information about the “recycled bottle money”, Netanyahu residence expenses, and, and, and . . . Their efforts were so blatant and absurd that the Israeli public quickly tuned them out. It must have been quite a blow to both of their immense egos when Herzog/Livni went down to a stinging defeat.
So it should come as no surprise now to find that Weinstein and Shapira are still doing all they can to bring down the current government–by going after members of the Coalition instead of attacking Netanyahu directly. Yesterday, Weinstein spent the day castigating Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev for her “abandonment of free speech” because of her decision to cut funding for the play that glorified the murderer of an IDF soldier.
By nightfall, it was Shapira’s turn on rabidly anti-Netanyahu Channel 10 to accuse Naftali Bennett of taking thousands of shekels that were supposed to have been spent on Bennett’s Jewish Home party during the election and using them instead to further his own candidacy (a particularly spurious charge given the facts that Israeli politicians do not run individually and that Bennett is probably the richest Israeli politician with more than 150 million dollars from the sale of his software company).
The point is that we can now look forward to months of Weinstein and Shapira going after the “right.”
**Where are Israelis flying to . . .

TODAY’S BLOG:
You will recall from yesterday’s blog, dear reader, that there was a terrorist attack on Sunday night at a gasoline station on Road 443. In that attack a Jewish man, a 26-year-old Yehuda Ben Moyal, was stabbed in the back and in the shoulder by Palestinian terrorist Anas Taah who was subsequently shot to death by an IDF soldier.
Yesterday, Hagar Taah–the mother of the terrorist–gave a short, tearless, interview which nevertheless speaks volumes as to why the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians will not end anytime soon and perhaps never will.
In Hagar Taah’s own words:
“I was surprised to hear the news that my son stabbed an Israeli. He was a good boy and never spoke about such actions. I only knew that he went to throw stones at the soldiers, but to stab someone .. it was never mentioned.”
Let’s get this straight. Mom thinks her son is a good boy because he “only” went to throw stones at soldiers. And she was surprised that he stabbed someone–not because he stabbed the person but because he didn’t discuss it with her first.
She continued:
“It is the duty of Palestinian mothers to give our children for the sake of the fight. I’m happy that he is a martyr.”
This obviously recalls Golda Meir’s famous quotation which is just as relevant today as it was 45 years ago: “We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.”
Of course another reason that Mom is happy that her son is a “martyr” is that she will now receive a monthly stipend from the PLO–paid for by the U.S. and E.U. and be exalted above other women among the Palestinians.
She concluded her interview: “Abbas is guilty of the death of my son. Security coordination [between Israel and the PLO] takes our sons and destroys our homes.”
Talk about biting the hand that feeds her. However, within a month, she will be on the rostrum with Abbas in Ramallah accepting the accolades for her meritorious motherhood and her son’s glorious actions.
Hagar Taah, a suddenly rich, ungrieving, Palestinian “mother”–and the world wonders why this conflict drags on decade after decade.
