**The daily Palestinian terror report . . .

Numerous attacks took place against Israelis all day yesterday. From 5 pm to 8 pm alone: at 5:27, a Palestinian terrorist threw a Molotov cocktail from a highway overpass at a car traveling underneath on Highway 6 (the Trans-Judea Highway)–passengers traumatized, car damaged, terrorist escaped; at 6:42, Palestinian terrorists assaulted an Israeli bus at the Judah intersection on Mt. Hebron–bus windshield and windows smashed; at 7:03, terrorists attacked another bus near Kfar Etzion; at 7:34, Israeli motorists were hit by a hail of “rocks” at the Ma’ale Shomron Junction–again, passengers were traumatized and the terrorists escaped.

How many of these attacks were reported in the international media? Zero, zilch, none.

The domestic news agency Walla reported yesterday that Israeli security forces have foiled 111 Palestinian “major” terror attacks against Israelis since January 1 of this year. These thwarted attacks include kidnappings and bombings.

They also include 17 attempted Palestinian suicide bomber attacks.

62 of the 111 attacks were planned by Hamas.

**Speaking of Hamas, very disturbing reports are coming out of Cairo . . .

Tony Blair (a John Kerry ‘wannabe’) is at it again–this time supposedly mediating a long-term “truce agreement” between Israel and Hamas.

Yesterday, news began filtering out that the parameters of a deal have been reached. According to an Egyptian newspaper, the core of the deal is that Israel will end the blockade of Gaza and permit the construction of a seaport funded by Qatar in return for a 7 year truce and the return of body parts of dead soldiers from last summer’s war.

If this turns out to be true, it will mark yet another disgusting episode in the history of Israeli-Palestinian “negotiations.” Hamas offers a meaningless truce that it will immediately break (as it did so many times last summer) and pieces of dead Israelis–and gets unbridled ability to import weapons into Gaza.

**A nice sight outside the Central Jerusalem Bus Station yesterday:

How did these 4 children spend a hot afternoon in Jerusalem? Giving out free popsicles to soldiers.

Their T-shirts read: “I am a symbol of the beautiful Israel with love.”

Yes, this family is. Kolakevod to them!

More than 5000 Israelis crowded into the central Negev Desert town to see the Perseid Meteor Shower. Telescopes sponsored by the Israel Space Agency (yes, Israel has one), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, and the Israel Astronomical Association were available, but all you really needed were your own eyes.

People were huddled around heaters to stay warm in the cool desert night, but they were not disappointed.

Interestingly, ground has been broken on a new space “park” here in Ashdod to be completed within three years.

Visitors to the park will be able to fly to the moon, float weightless in space, and fly a space shuttle simulator among other activities.

In fact, Ashdod has long had an affinity for space. One of the main roundabouts in the center of Ashdod is named for famed Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon who tragically died in the crash of the space shuttle Columbia:

And then there is what we in Ashdod like to call the giant CETI collector:

This giant piece of sculpture sits in the middle of a roundabout a block away from your humble servant's home here in Ashdod. It changes color every three minutes. Is any being from outer space watching? (LOL)

Will Israel receive the first transmissions from some other planet one of these days?

Whatever the case, your humble servant scans the skies every night with his own telescope.
