**The daily Palestinian terror report (just from noon to midnight yesterday):
At 12:52 pm, terrorists threw “rocks” at Israelis near Gittit Avishar in Samaria; at 1:30 pm, Shin Bet announced arrests of Palestinian terrorists who had planned to murder Jews and blow up Joseph’s Tomb; at 3:13 pm, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza fired two more “test rockets” into the Mediterranean; at 3:38 pm, terrorists threw Molotov cocktails at Israeli vehicles near Beit Furik.
At 4:46 pm, Palestinian terrorists threw two IEDs at Israeli security personnel near Beit Jala; at 7:37 pm, Palestinians attacked policemen and Border Guards at Nabi Saleh in the Binyamin region; at 9:29 pm, Palestinian terrorists attacked Jewish mourners in Hebron’s ancient Jewish cemetery with “rocks”; two minutes later, at 9:31 pm, Palestinians pelted Israelis near Azzun with “rocks”; at 10:45 pm, Palestinian terrorists hit a bus near Beit El with Molotov cocktails causing the bus to catch fire.
The above incidents are just a drop in the bucket of what happened yesterday as Palestinian terrorists continue to run rampant through Judea and Samaria.
And, as usual, there is no mention of these attacks in the mainstream news media.
**A little more information about the thwarted attack on Joseph’s Tomb mentioned above . . .
The terror cell arrested by Shin Bet consisted of 4 Palestinians from Tulkarm, Shechem (Nablus), and Kabatya: Nasim Damiri (30) who has served time in Israeli prisons for terrorism, his cousin Mohammed Damiri (23) who happens to be a PLO policeman, Yasser Tzarawi (25)–a well-known Hamas member, and Adnan Nizal (24)–a well-known member of Islamic Jihad.
Your humble servant mentions this to show the close coordination now taking place between the PLO, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad.
**It becomes clearer by the day . . .
The Iranian Appeasement Agreement will pass the U.S. Congress. Not that a majority of Senators and Congressmen support it, but there are few Democratic Senators and Congressmen who have the moral fiber to stand up against Barack Obama.
This appalling lack of courage and conviction simply means that even though Obama will lose the first round of voting set to take place on September 17 or 18, there will not be enough votes to overcome his veto which will come shortly thereafter.
It is a pathetic statement about Democratic political pusillanimity.
TODAY’S BLOG:
Reform Rabbi Stephen Wise, speaking to Neville Chamberlain on the eve of the Nazi slaughter of Jews, when asked by Chamberlain about a plan to move Jewish refugees to Africa:
“I would rather have my fellow Jews die in Germany than live in lands which bear the imprint of yesterday’s occupation by Germany and which may tomorrow be yielded back. “

From a 2009 interview between Dr. Rafael Medoff (Jewish historian focusing on American Jewish history, Zionism, and the Holocaust), and the father of PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Bentzion Netanyahu, as quoted in Dr. Rafael Medoff and Prof Sonja Schoepf Wentling Herbert Hoover and the Jews: The Origins of the “Jewish Vote” and Bipartisan Support for Israel, 2012:
Rafael Medoff: In your view, why were American Jewish leaders so cautious during the 1940s?
Bentzion Netanyahu: “Part of the problem was how they saw themselves. In their contacts with president Roosevelt, Jewish leaders thought of themselves as weak or helpless. Take, for example, Rabbi Stephen Wise – leader of the American Zionist movement, the American Jewish Congress and the World Jewish Congress. He thought of himself as a servant of president Roosevelt. He referred to Roosevelt as “chief”, and he really meant it that way – Roosevelt was the chief, and Wise was the servant. Wise was happy to just follow along with whatever Roosevelt wanted. He was content as long as FDR just remembered his name or gave him a few minutes of his time every once in a while.”
—————
Your humble servant could not help but think of Stephen Wise and the analysis of Bentzion Netanyahu this week when the news was reported that 340 Jewish rabbis in the United States had signed a letter to Barack Obama expressing their support for the Iranian Nuclear Appeasement Agreement.
The letter reeks fawning servility to Obama in the same way that Bentzion Netanyahu described the fawning servility of many American Jewish leaders to Franklin Roosevelt:
August 17, 2015
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives
Members of the U.S. Senate
As rabbis, we support the agreement between the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, China, Russia and Iran– The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. We encourage the members of the Senate and the House of Representatives to endorse this agreement.
The Obama administration has successfully brought together the major international powers to confront Iran over its nuclear ambitions. The broad international sanctions moved Iran to enter this historic agreement. Should this agreement be rejected by the U.S. Congress, those sanctions will end. There will be no new negotiations, as the other member countries are fully in favor of this agreement and have no desire to re-negotiate.
We understand that while this agreement blocks Iran’s path to a nuclear bomb, we recognize it does not deal with Iran’s support for terror, but that was never the purpose of these talks. Now that a nuclear agreement has been reached, we call on the United States and its international partners to strengthen their resolve and dedicate additional resources to confront Iranian threats to Israel and other states.
Most especially, we are deeply concerned with the impression that the leadership of the American Jewish community is united in opposition to the agreement. We, along with many other Jewish leaders, fully support this historic nuclear accord.
Note how the letter is nothing more than a reiteration of Obama Administration talking points: sanctions will end, no new negotiations, blocks Iran’s path to a nuclear bomb, dealing with Iranian terrorism was never the purpose of the talks, a historic nuclear accord.
Watching these servants of Obama kowtow to their “Messiah” is enough to make your humble servant want to throw up.
As does the final paragraph of the letter which carries the clear subtext that “we want you to know that not all American Jews support Israel’s views on Iran.”
Or they might have stated more simply: “not all American Jews support Israel.”
One final note: the disgusting servility of the 340 stands in marked contrast to the courage of nearly eight hundred other U.S. rabbis who have just signed a petition against the Appeasement Agreement.
Addendum: when the Agreement finally and tragically passes, the 340 Obama servants–most of whom are “Reform Jewish rabbis” should be forever immortalized in shame:
