**The daily Palestinian terror report . . .
It may be a new year in Israel, but it’s the same old story when it comes to Palestinian terrorism. Throughout the day yesterday, Palestinians attacked Israelis in eastern Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.
Here are a few examples:
>>A young Jewish man was attacked last night while walking through the Muslim Quarter of the Old City.
A ten second video of the attack has been posted by an Arab who was there. Click here to see it.
>>Throughout the day, dozens of terrorists waged war on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, led by screaming Israel-Arab legislators from the Knesset who physically and verbally assaulted police officers.
For once, however, police refused to kowtow to the terrorists, pushed them back into the Al-Aksa Mosque, and permitted 650 Jews to go to the Mount. 650 is a pitifully small number, but it is better than nothing–which is what usually happens when police totally close down the Mount to Jews in the face of Palestinian terror.
>>At 8:30 am, terrorists were caught attempting to infiltrate the community of Neriah in Samaria.
They were armed with butcher knives.
** Moving on out of Israel . . . so your humble servant loves to travel, but . . .
. . . there are some places he would not travel to such as Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, or to the eastern (Sinai) or western (Sahara) in Egypt.
The latter location is precisely where a group of 22 tourists was traveling yesterday–out across the Sahara in western Egypt. Unfortunately for them, the Egyptian air force thought they were a group of terrorists and attacked their convoy with Apache helicopters.

TODAY’S BLOG:
Last night, an as yet unidentified 50-year-old Jerusalem resident was killed as he was driving back toward his home with two passengers after a Rosh Hashana dinner with friends. While driving through the Arnona neighborhood on Asher Weiner Street near Sur Bahir, Palestinian terrorists attacked the car with “rocks”.
The driver lost control of the car, struck an electric light pole, and crashed into a ditch.
The driver was taken to Sha’are Zedek hospital where he died a few hours later–the first Israeli to be murdered in this new year. The two passengers are listed as “serious but stable.”
But wait . . . there is pathetic adjunct to this tragedy.
The Jerusalem Police are refusing to confirm this morning that the man was murdered because one of the passengers in the car saw the man “convulse” after the car windshield was smashed with “rocks”.
And because of this the case remains open: the police are unsure whether the man died as a result of the “rocks” being thrown, or because he had a heart attack after the “rocks” were thrown.
Can someone please explain to your humble servant what difference it possibly makes?
Palestinian terrorists attacked the car with “rocks”; as a result, the driver either had a heart attack and lost control of the car; or as a result, he lost control of the car. Whether the man died of a heart attack or the car crash, the cause was the same: he was murdered by Palestinian terrorists.
The police dissembling is nothing new. The police, the IDF, and all official government security groups will do anything to avoid saying that an Israeli was murdered by Palestinians. After all, they must always remain politically correct.
Your humble servant had hoped the new year would be different.
But that, of course, was wishful thinking.
