**The daily Palestinian terror report from yesterday . . .
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli men, women, and children in more than 50 locations yesterday in incidents that you will read nothing about in the international media.
Here are some of the locations at which Palestinians attempted to burn Israelis alive by hitting them with Molotov cocktails: in a house in the Nof Zion neighborhood of Jerusalem (12:12 am this morning), at the IDF base at Anatot (10:53 pm), at a car at Alei Zahav in Samaria (9:09 pm), at a security vehicle in Ir David (8:02 pm), and at IDF troops in the Hebron hills (8:00 pm).
Not only did Palestinians try to burn Israelis yesterday, they also attempted to smash Israelis with “rocks” at Rachel’s Tomb near Bethlehem (12:11 am this morning), at Bimini (11:55 pm), on Bus Line 200 in Haifa (11:15 pm), at cars near Beit Ummar (11:04 pm), at a bus near Beit Ummar (10:08 pm), at another bus on Route 55 near Karni Shomron (10:06 pm), and at motorists at Al-Khader near Hebron (10:04 pm).
Do you notice anything about the 12 attacks listed above? They all happened in a four hour period between 8pm and just after midnight. And they all happened in eastern Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.
Aside from the specific terror incidents noted, there were full-blown riots again in Issawiya, Qalqilya, and Kedumim, while at Migdal Oz, IDF troops were assaulted by IEDs.
**Another missile attack launched by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza occurred last night at 10:32 pm.
Again, the target was the Sha’ar Hanegev region along the Israel-Gaza border and the Chof Ashkelon region.

What is step 1 of the IDF response? If you said “Tell the public that it was a false alarm”, your humble servant will give you an A for your answer. That is precisely what happened last night: the IDF spokesman immediately declared it was a “false alarm.”
What is step 2 of the IDF response? If you said “Tell the public that the missile fell on the Gaza side of the fence”, you have earned another A for your correct answer. That is precisely where we are this morning. Now the IDF spokesman says that a missile was fired, but it landed in Gaza.
What is step 3 of the IDF response? If you said “The IDF will announce that it has found the missile in ‘an open area’ of southern Israel”, you receive an A+. That announcement will come this afternoon or tomorrow when someone finds the missile.

Faaborg-Andersen: We understand that you are an island of stability in a sea of instability, and even though Europe understands that this is a scary situation to be in, it makes us work even harder to change the Israel-Palestinian situation.
Your humble servant: In other words, the EU is overtly working to cause upheaval in the only stable place in the Middle East.
Maariv: Can you elaborate on the new EU peace initiative?
Faaborg-Andersen: The idea is that the Quartet will meet for discussion with the foreign ministers of the moderate Sunni countries. The meeting will take place towards the end of the UN General Assembly opening. It is a very important meeting. The intention is to explore together with the Arab states if they are ready to move forward. Israel is not currently a part of the planned meeting . . . The goal at the meeting is to explore what can be achieved through further dialogue with the moderate Arab countries, and what Israel can give them in return to achieve stronger cooperation.

Maariv: [What do you think about the problem with IS/DAAS in the West Bank?]
Faaborg-Andersen: As long as there is security cooperation between Israel and the PA, we are unlikely to see problems. But the Palestinians have threatened several times to stop security cooperation. The West Bank is an going frustration, and a widespread popular resistance may develop. If this fear is realized, the regional implications will be larger than in the first and second intifadas. And Iran has the ability to cause regional instability.

Maariv: [What do you think are the priorities of Tehran?]
Faaborg-Andersen: I believe that the Iranian agreement is a done deal. Europe is committed to the agreement . . . According to the head of your government, Iran will now not hesitate to support Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houtis in Yemen. This is a development that we are aware of. We just hope the Iranians will have other priorities. Without a doubt, some of the money will go to undesirable places . . . Maariv: Last week, Ali Khamenei spoke and expressed hope that in 25 years the Zionist state will not exist, and that between now and then Iran will not give it a moment’s rest. What is your reaction?
Faaborg-Andersen: It is clearly unacceptable. We understand the concerns in Israel and we take care to properly keep Israel informed. However, you should understand that there are all kinds of discourse in Iranian society, and especially anti-Semitic discourse is meant for domestic purposes . . .

Maariv: Back to reality in the Middle East. This week the European Parliament voted to label products from the settlements.
Faaborg-Anderson: This is true. In October, we will begin an initiative to mark products from the settlements . . . This is definitely a political move by the European Union . . . [but] whoever claims that this is a boycott is incorrect. We will allow the products to reach Europe and be exposed to a market of 500 million people. You cannot call this a boycott . . . I am also aware of the argument that because of this action many Palestinians who work in the settlements will lose their jobs. Of course we regret any person losing a job, but 15,000 or 20,000 lost jobs is not as important as the issue of the settlements. It is true that the settlements only sit on 2% or 3% of the West Bank, but their existence causes 60% of the land to be closed to the Palestinian economy.
Your humble servant: Incorrect on all counts:
1. It is a boycott.
2. Far more than 15,000 to 20,000 Palestinians will lose their jobs. It is currently estimated that there are 25,000 Palestinians legally working in fifteen industrial zones in Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria–and an equal number illegally doing so. Why doesn’t Faaborg-Andersen ask these 50,000 people what they think about the EU’s bankrupt idealism?
3. Area C of Judea and Samaria, the 60% of the land that Faaborg-Andersen claims is closed to the Palestinian economy, is closed to the Palestinian economy because that is what the Palestinians agreed to in the Oslo Accords–not because of Jewish communities. Area C is not Palestinian land.
