**The daily Palestinian terror report from yesterday . . .
It may have been the holiest day on the Jewish calendar yesterday, but Yom Kippur saw more than 30 Palestinian terror attacks against Israeli men, women, and children in eastern Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.
Yesterday evening, Palestinian terrorists armed with numerous IEDs were captured at the Taysir Checkpoint in the Jordan Valley by members of the Hoopoe Battalion of the Kfir Brigade.
Palestinian arsonists throwing Molotov cocktails started a major fire at Psagot (9:15 pm). In other Molotov attacks designed to burn Israelis alive, terrorists attacked during the day at Hebron, Shuafat, Abu Dis, Ras al-Amud, and Abu Tor. In the Abu Tor attack, Molotov cocktails set part of a home on fire.
In addition, Palestinian “rock” throwers assaulted Israelis at Beit Ummar, Halhul, Silwan, Har Homa, the Beit Hanina junction, Hebron, A-Tur, and Ras al-Amud, just to name a few locations.
**Israel’s so-called “Defense Minister”, Moshe Ya’alon strikes again . . .
. . . by rewarding Palestinian terrorism. In a incredibly flabbergasting move this morning, Ya’alon has announced “new gestures” of peace toward the Palestinians for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha which takes place today:
A. Today and tomorrow, married Palestinian couples in Judea and Samaria will be allowed to visit family in Israel.
B. Palestinians living in Judea and Samaria (married men over 45 years of age, and married women over 30 years of age) will be allowed to pray on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
C. Palestinian families living in Judea and Samaria willl be allowed to fly abroad from Ben Gurion airport.
D. Commercial crossings into Israel from Judea and Samaria will have extended hours of operations.
As part of this announcement, the disgusting IDF COGAT unit said that it will “update the international community on steps and gestures that Israel is taking for the Muslim holiday.”
Your humble servant is going to vomit. How is it possible that the IDF, COGAT, and Ya’alon are completely oblivious to the rampaging Palestinian terrorism that is tearing eastern Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria apart?
And to think that these “steps and gestures” are all for the sake of the “international community.”
Talk about political correctness run amok.
**Israel’s de facto Prime Minister, Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein strikes again . . .

. . . and again. In two more outrageous displays of power which Weinstein has been allowed to get away with, Weinstein has intervened in the cases of the arson at the Church of the Multiplication just outside Tiberias and in the choosing of a new Chief of Police for the country.
It was announced just before Yom Kippur that Weinstein has determined that Israeli taxpayers are on the hook for the arson damaged caused at the Church earlier this summer–to the tune of over a million shekels. Somehow, Weinstein has justified his action based on Israel’s property tax law.
Last night, after the end of Yom Kippur, Chief of Police candidate Gal Hirsch announced he was withdrawing his nomination because of Weinstein’s determination to carry out endless investigations into his past business connections. Once again, Weinstein has no legal power to block anyone’s nomination for any office, but once again everyone is kowtowing to his dictates.
TODAY’S BLOG:
A terror incident that occurred on Tuesday morning is still resonating today as a result of the efforts of self-proclaimed “human rights’ organizations and the leftist Israeli media to whitewash the story.
What happened at about 8 am was that a female Palestinian terrorist armed with a knife was shot as she approached an Israeli soldier at the Kikar Hashoter checkpoint near Shuhada Street in Hebron. Here is the IDF description of what transpired:
“The woman arrived at a police checkpoint and triggered the metal detector when she went through. She was told to stop and didn’t, she kept walking towards the soldiers and was told to stop again. Then gunfire was aimed at the ground, at which point she pulled out a knife, so she was shot in the leg. She then continued towards the soldiers and was shot again.”
So let’s get this straight.
Something the woman was carrying set off the metal detector alarm. She was told to stop. She did not. She continued walking toward the soldier. The soldier fired on the ground in front of her. She pulled out a knife–obviously what set off the alarm in the first place. She was shot in the leg. She continued approaching the soldier with the knife. She was shot again.
A nearby Palestinian “witness” told the leftist Yedioth Aharonot newspaper that the woman was shot because she was “confused” and did not understand what the soldiers were saying. The “witness” said: “I thought there might be a language barrier.”
Some language barrier.
Your humble servant supposes that the terrorist did not understand the language of the metal detector, did not understand the language of the bullets fired in front of her on the ground, did not really know that a knife is a weapon, and did not realize after being shot in the leg that she should stop.
Finally, aside from the fact that the Israeli soldier followed protocol to the letter, it is worth remembering four points:
1. There have been numerous incidents in recent months of female Palestinian terrorists stabbing Israeli civilians and soldiers at bus stops, checkpoints, and on the street.
2. There have been several incidents over the years of female Palestinian terrorists carrying suicide bombs in briefcases, suitcases, and other containers hidden under their outer clothing.
3. There have been a number of incidents over the years in which male Palestinian terrorists have dressed as females in order to conceal their intentions.
4. Every checkpoint has IDF soldiers who speak Arabic and IDF female soldiers who check Palestinian women.
The bottom line is that there was no language barrier, but thank goodness there was a security checkpoint barrier. Otherwise, another Israeli or more Israelis would have been stabbed.
