May 25: Real Estate
One of the most talk-about indie bands of our days are coming to one show in Tel Aviv on May 25th.
May 26: Elton John
Sir Elton John will be coming to Tel Aviv, Israel for a concert.
June 8: Brian Wilson
The creative genius behind the legendary “Beach Boys”, Brian Wilson is coming to Ra’anana to perform his landmark album “Pet Sounds.”
June 14: Pat Metheny
Pat Metheny, one of the most acclaimed jazz guitarists in the United States, is coming to Tel Aviv.
June 14 and 15: Foreigner
One of the biggest bands of all time, Foreigner, is heading to Caesarea in Israel for two concerts.
June 16: Alice Cooper
Legendary heavy-metal star Alice Cooper will be performing in in Tel Aviv.
June 23 and 24: Sergio Mendes
Brazilian Bossa Nova legend Sergio Mendes will perform two concerts.
June 30: Barry Manilow
Famed singer Barry Manilow is coming to Tel Aviv.
June 30: Duran Duran
Duran Duran, the British 80s pop icons, are coming to Israel.
July 2: Megadeth
Famed American thrash rockers, Megadeth are heading to Tel Aviv.
July 13: Buddy Guy
One of your humble servant’s favorite blues guitarists, Buddy Guy will be in Caesarea.
July 14: The Scorpions
One of the most successful heavy metal bands of all time, the Scorpions will perform in Tel Aviv.
July 20: Bruce Springsteen
The Boss is coming to Tel Aviv
And the list goes on and on through the rest of the year. In August, Beyonce is coming; in September Dire Straits; in October . . . you get the message.
These performers are coming despite all the considerable efforts of the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions movement. They deserve our praise and our support.
By the way, they are are just the tip of a much larger iceberg which consists of scientists, politicians, and other artists who are making their way to Israel.
