UPDATES 6 pm Israel time
…Palestinian terror so far today…
A 38-year-old terrorist from Shechem (Nablus) armed with knives was captured by alert security personnel on his way to carry out an attack in Kfar Qassam.
…Palestinian terror yesterday…
“Rocks” and Molotovs were used to attack Israelis throughout Judea and Samaria at such places as Azzun, Gush Etzion, Turmusayya, Mt. Hebron, Aisooia, Tekoa, and Hizma.
In one particularly egregious attack, an infant in a stroller was seriously wounded when hit by a “rock” in the Jewish neighborhood in Hevron.
...We go from hot to hotter…
The Israel Meteorological Service predicted today that the already scorching weather in Israel will become even hotter in June, July, and August.
…A bad sign…
It was announced yesterday that Israel is cooperating with the International Criminal Court in The Hague on the allegations that we committed “war crimes” during the 2014 war with Hamas.
Why is this a bad sign?
Aside from the fact that Israel will never be able to get any justice from the ICC, the Palestinians are now calling every building that is constructed in Judea and Samaria a “war crime.”
So what do we have to gain from this cooperation? Absolutely nothing. We will only see Israel dragged down into endless fraudulent litigation at the ICC.
TODAY’S BLOG:
Do you want to do something good today?
Go to this webpage (be sure to click on the video and scroll down the page) and make a contribution to “Judah returned home.”
Who is Judah?
He is Yehuda Yitzhak, an officer who was badly wounded during the 2014 war with Hamas. As he led his troops into Gaza, he was hit by shrapnel in the head and thought to be killed.
Evacuated by medics, he managed to survive–but just barely.
He was unconscious for months and underwent 8 operations (in the process losing an eye)–and his second child, a son, was born while he lay unresponsive in the hospital.
When he finally emerged from unconsciousness, he was unable to talk.
However, three months ago, he began speaking, smiling, and began to think about going home. However, he needs a home which is specially outfitted to help him undergo years of rehabilitation.
If you can believe this, the IDF Defense Ministry will not pay for him to have a specially-built home because his home is in Ofra–and our politically correct IDF high command will not fund any new construction in Judea and Samaria.
PM Netanyahu has recently intervened in Yehuda’s case, but to what effect no one knows
So for the time being, private sources must help build Yehuda’s new home.
And that’s where you come in.
Again, please think about making a contribution to “Judah returned home.”
