UPDATES 9 pm Israel time
…Palestinian terror so far today…
*Palestinian terrorists in a truck opened fire on an Israeli motorist near the Tapuach Junction. No one was wounded; the terrorists escaped.
*Palestinian terrorists tried to set fire to Joseph’s Tomb in Shechem. They were repulsed by Israeli soldiers.
*A Palestinian terrorist stabbed a 25-year-old man in the chest in Tel Aviv. He is in serious condition; the attacker escaped.
…A picture of terrorism from a couple of days ago…
The following is a picture of Herzl Schubert, a high school teacher in Israel, as he made his way to assault IDF soldiers with a “rock” in Nabi Saleh. You can see that the “rock” was part of a concrete block:
You may remember that Schubert has been involved in many attacks on his fellow Israelis in Nabi Saleh, but has thus far been able to keep his job teaching at an Israeli high school.
…What a surprise…
Yesterday, the Arab League and Saudi Arabia flatly rejected changes to the so-called Arab Peace Plan.
When the Saudi Arabian FM was asked if Saudi Arabia would agree to “amendments”, he responded “Why should we change anything?”
Indeed. Why should they change anything since the “Peace” plan gives the Palestinians everything: the right of “returning” 5 million plus bogus Palestinians to Israel, a Palestinian capital in Jerusalem, all land captured by Israel in 1967 including the Golan Heights, etc.
TODAY’S BLOG:
Insanity reigns supreme in Jerusalem.
In honor of Ramadan, Israel has announced that all border crossings into and out of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza will be opened for longer hours because:
—Israel will permit Palestinians living in Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria to visit their families in Israel.
—Israel will even permit “first degree” Palestinians living in Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria to visit their relatives in Gaza–and vice versa (yes, Hamas members may visit their relatives in Judea and Samaria too).
—Israel will also permit Muslim worshipers from Areas A and B and Gaza to flood Jerusalem on Fridays and during Laylat al-Qadr and Eid al-Fitr.
And why is Israel undertaking all of these idiotic moves?
According to COGAT, the moves are “gestures of goodwill made to promote freedom of religion and worship.”
Pardon your humble servant for a few minutes as he throws up.
Aside from obvious security risks, when has there ever been any reciprocal gesture of goodwill from the Palestinians?
I will tell you when . . .
Never.
PS. Exasperated with Israel, even Egypt has decided to allow concrete and wood through the Rafah Crossing during Ramadan. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how Hamas tunnel builders will spend their time during Ramadan.
