Palestinian terror attacks in the last 48 hours:
There has been no decrease in Palestinian terror with more than 40 attacks on Friday and Saturday. Israelis have been stabbed, firebombed, shot at, hit by IEDs, and attacked with “rocks.”
The soldier stabbed in the head at the Qalandiya checkpoint on Friday night remains in critical but stable condition. The soldier wounded by “rocks” at the Golani Junction last night is in “moderate” condition in a hospital. Another Israeli wounded by “rocks” while in his car near Beitar Illit has been treated and released.
Here are a few of the other locations where terror attacks occurred: Azzun, Rachel’s Tomb, Al Majd, near Nahal Oz, Psagot, Jaba, Silwad, Negohot, Mt. Hevron, Beit Ummar, Halamed, Nabi Saleh, Hevron, Abu Dis, Hizma, Bethany, A-Ram, Beit Einun, Qalqilya, Shuafat, Omar, and Kedumim.
In other words, Israelis were targeted throughout Judea, Samaria, and eastern Jerusalem.
And it is those areas which are being closed down for the holidays beginning at sundown tonight with Rosh Hashana.

In the neighborhood
5 Egyptian policemen were shot to death in El Arish in the northern Sinai yesterday. In another incident, an armored personnel carrier ferrying new army transcripts was blown up by a roadside IED. One soldier was killed. and an untold number of others were wounded.
The Syrian slaughter continues with Russia threatening today that U.S. intervention on the side of the rebels in Aleppo will bring devastating results. It’s hard to see how the carnage in Aleppo can get much worse, but if the U.S. has indeed supplied fighters with missiles to shoot down Russian bombers, then a much wider war is in the offing. This morning, Russian bombers destroyed Hospital M10 in eastern Aleppo.
Peres’ Vision of Peace
