Happy Chanukah!
And to those who celebrate the holiday:
Merry Christmas!
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
*Palestinian terrorists in Gaza fired a missile at the Kerem Shalom Crossing in the Eshkol Region yesterday. True to form, the IDF immediately declared it a false alarm. Tomorrow the IDF will find the missile.
*Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli motorists with “rocks” at Surik, Makel, Pondok, Biddu, Beit El, Hizma, Qadum, Issawiya, Beit Hagai, and other places.
*Palestinian terrorists attempted to burn Israelis to death with Molotov firebombs at A-Ram, Afars, near the Dor Alon gas station in Benjamin, Beit Ummar (3 soldiers were wounded), and Ayalon.
More about Security Council Resolution 2334 . . .
It is worthwhile remembering that Security Council Resolution 2334 not only declares that Jewish “settlements” in the “West Bank” are occupied, but also it claims that the entire Old City of Jerusalem including the Jewish Quarter and the Temple Mount as well as the Golan Heights are occupied.
Think about that for a moment.

TODAY’S BLOG:
Vote: who is the most absurd?
1. Syrian President Assad. Assad and his wife visited a Christian orphanage which is home to orphans created by Assad’s forces.
2. Arad Nir of Israel’s Channel 2. Nir spent last evening declaring on Israeli TV that the U.N. Security Council decision was not anti-Israel–and that the poor Palestinians had no choice but to raise the issue.
3. Hamas. According to Hamas, Abdullah Musa Zarb, 27, a Hamas terrorist member of the Iddin al-Qassam Brigades, died heroically yesterday and will be added to the list of Palestinian martyrs. He was killed when a truck accidentally ran over his scooter at an intersection in Khan Yunis.
4. French and Italian police. The French are at a loss as to understand how the truck terrorist in Berlin managed to make his way through France to Milan where he was eventually shot and killed. The terrorist traveled by train from Lyon to Valence to Chambery–and on into Italy through Turin to Milan. Why they are at a loss is hard to understand. Regular readers of this blog know that your humble servant traveled exactly the same route this summer. While we were traveling, we did not see any French or Italian security officials–and of course, there is no checking of anyone when borders are crossed.
5. Benjamin Netanyahu.
Isn’t it odd that Benjamin Netanyahu took such great umbrage about a Security Council resolution declaring Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria illegal when he has never declared that they are legal?
So vote this morning and let me know–I’ll publish the results tomorrow.
