The chant of members of the The Israel Association of Bereaved Families protesting against the European Union yesterday at a protest rally. The members were protesting how European money defends the terrorists who murdered their children.
According to Israel reporting agencies, the European Union has provided more than 9,000,000 shekels ($2.6 million dollars) in the last 5 years to the National Defense Center, Adalah, HaMoked, and the Civil Rights Association–all of which defend Palestinian terrorists in Israeli courts. This is not to even mention another 60,000,000 shekels ($17.2 million) the EU has spent on anti-Israel propaganda during the same time.

*IDF forces captured 15 wanted terrorists overnight.
*Palestinian terrorists throwing “rocks”, Molotovs, and IEDs attacked Israelis at Beit Haggai, the Samaritan neighborhood in Shechem, Al Aruv, Nabi Salah, on Highway 5, Psagot, Azzun, on Highway 90, the Romano House in Hevron, near the Karmei Tzur junction in Gush Etzion, on the Tunnel Road in southern Jerusalem, Negohot, Mt. Hevron, Umm Safa, and Beit Anun among other places.
On the Gaza border . . .
Nobody looks happy this morning, neither the Qatari representative dressed in white nor his Hamas handler.
It’s blackmail time again this morning as the Qatari representative has arrived in Gaza to hand out $100 bills to Hamasniks. The Qataris have warned that this may be the last distribution, and Hamas has warned that if it is, it will increase violence along the border.
On the government formation front . . .
We are now at Day 5 of the 21 day period during which a member of the Knesset can attempt to get 61 signatures in order to form a government.
On the Kahol Lavan side, there is nothing new–just the continual drumbeat that Netanyahu should resign and that Gantz should be Prime Minister for the first two years of a rotation agreement.
On the Likud side, there is an internal battle going on between those trying wrest power away from Netanyahu and those defending him. Gideon Sa’ar is urging a Likud primary to choose new leaders take place before the 21 day period runs out. The Likud party machinery has responded (with Netanyahu’s approval) that there will be no such primary until after the 21 day period expires–probably in six weeks.
In another move, Nir Barkat, the former mayor of Jerusalem and a Likudnik, has proposed that Likud restructure its hierarchy so that a “vice-president” is chosen. This vice-president would run “on a ticket” with Netanyahu in the next election and be there to take over should Netanyahu be forced to step down. This is an excellent idea–that might just propel Likud to victory in the next election.
The Joint Arab List continues on the Netanyahu attack . . .

The post included a statement that the Joint Arab List will be responsible for putting Netanyahu behind bars–and that because of that, its numbers will increase to 15 seats in the next election.

Another Jew Murdered Because Of “Hevron Soldier Syndrome”

It seems like only yesterday, but it was a year and a half ago on February 5 2019 that an Arab terrorist stabbed Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal to death at a bus stop just outside of Ariel.
A month and a half later, the terrorist, Abdel Hakim Ben Adal Azzi, was caught in Shechem. After being tried and found guilty, he was sentenced in Lod District Court yesterday.
Bizarrely, or perhaps not so, the sentencing turned into a strange event as Azzi stood up and interrupted his lawyer just as his lawyer was asking for clemency from the judge. Azzi proclaimed to the court that he intentionally murdered Ben-Gal “because he was a Jew.”
The judge then proceeded to sentence Azzi to life in prison and ordered him to pay Ben-Gal’s wife and 4 orphaned children a 258,000 shekels in restitution. Leaving aside the paltry restitution required, other facts that came forth at the trial were simply nauseating.
*Azzi was briefly detained several months before the attack because he had beaten his Jewish girlfriend.
*Azzi continually posted items including video on Facebook and other social media praising terrorists who murdered Jews.
*Azzi actually went to the scene of the murder 24 hours before the murder—all the while filming himself and the soldiers he found there with his cellphone.
He began to curse the soldiers and then physically assaulted them—but the soldiers initially failed to respond.
A short while later as this activity continued, other soldiers arrived and fired their weapons in the air forcing him to leave. But not before he yelled at the soldiers: “Who are you anyway? I know you can do nothing to me! I will remember your face.”
All of this is on the video the terrorist later posted online (it was removed by the IDF when it was discovered after the murder).
*According to an eyewitness who gave testimony about the incident to the court, the soldiers explained that they were afraid to arrest him.
They told the eyewitness: “Sorry my brother, but I’m afraid they won’t charge him; instead, what will happen if we arrest him is that they will come and accuse us.”
*Less than 24 hours after this incident happened, Azzi arrived by taxi at the bus station, got out, spotted Rabbi Ben-Gal who was standing there–and went and stabbed him to death.
Rabbi Ben-Gal should be alive today; he was murdered because the IDF has neutered our soldiers and made them afraid to even defend themselves.
This all goes back to the abominable case of Elor Azariya, who was hauled before a military court martial and found guilty for killing a terrorist whom he thought was about to detonate himself. His prosecution by a politically correct military prosecutor and judiciary has put all Israelis at risk.
