The News on the Israeli Street
Those “poor Palestinians” . . .
“The largest open air prison in the world“, “the people in Gaza are trapped“, “Israel has a noose around the Palestinians’ neck” . . . how many times have we heard nonsense like this from Palestinian supporters around the world.
Of course the truth is something else.
According to the Palestinians’ own Interior Ministry, the Rafah Crossing from Gaza into Egypt was open for 277 days in 2018–in fact virtually every day that was not a holiday, Friday, or Saturday.
In sum, the Ministry said it was a “normal” year.
So much for an open air prison.
More Palestinian idiocy . . .
Emergency! Emergency! Emergency! The PLO demanded that the Arab League convene an emergency meeting today.
What could be the reason?
Israeli communities in Samaria? Nope. Judaization of Jerusalem? Nope? The Trump Deal of the Century? Nope.
The reason for the “emergency” is that Brazil has decided to open a trade office in Jerusalem.
Can you believe it? A trade office is all that it takes to convene an emergency meeting.

TODAY’S BLOG:
Palestinian Terror In The Last 24 Hours
On the Gaza border:
We often report on OneIsrael about attempted infiltrations of southern Israel by armed Palestinian terrorists. Two more such attempts were made last night. Both were thwarted by our ever vigilant IDF.
Here is a video of one of the terrorists as he approached the border fence–just before he was shot and killed by an IAF aircraft. After he was eliminated, Hamas claimed he was a “farmer.”
In fact, that is what Hamas claims about all armed terrorists on the Gaza border–they are all either farmers or shepherds.
In Judea and Samaria:
Road 458 at Al-Muayyir, Hevron Bypass Road, the Olive Junction, Al Aruv, Road 463 near Ras Karkar, the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road, Mt. Hevron, Ma’ale Lavona, Luban A-Sharqiya, and Migdalot were ten of several dozen locations where Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs.
In a major announcement yesterday, Israel’s Shin Bet security service in conjunction with the IDF announced that the entire terror cell, a part of which carried out the gruesome murder of Rina Shnerb a few months ago, has been captured.
The cell which was affiliated with the PFLP was actually a widespread infrastructure consisting of more than 50 terrorists who had planned to perpetrate major terror attacks in addition to the one of the Shnerb family as well as previous ones.
What do we see today?
Palestinian terrorism in every direction.
