The News On The Israeli Street
The insanity of Israeli left-wing politicians . . .
Here we are in the midst of an unprecedented health crisis, and what is Israel’s “left” obsessed with?
Getting rid of PM Netanyahu.
Not surprisingly, at a moment yesterday when the newly formed Knesset should have been considering and passing measures to help people survive, all the left-wingers could do yesterday was propose one anti-Netanyahu law after another—with no discussion of the Corona virus at all.
Gantz’s Blue and White Party and Liberman’s Yisrael Beiteinu spent all day sending in these proposed laws:
1. Limitation of Prime Minister’s term to two terms.
2. Termination of office of prime minister or minister indicted.
3. Prohibition of imposing the task of assembling the government on a Knesset member who has been indicted.
4. Empowerment of the Knesset to hold a secret ballot to terminate the term of a prime minister under indictment.
And on and on.
All in all it was a disgusting display of irresponsible politics as usual by people suffering from Netanyahu Derangement Syndrome.
At the same time, the anti-Bibi forces failed in their initial attempt to oust Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein who would not allow more than 10 legislators into the Knesset at one time because of a directive of the Health Ministry.
Gantz and his terrorist cronies are sure to resume their political machinations tomorrow with no regard for the well-being of Israel.

Palestinian terror in the last 24 . . .
The PLO may have enacted Corona measures to stem the spread of the virus, but no one has done anything to stem the spread of terror in Judea and Samaria. There have been more than two dozen “rock” and Molotov attacks at such places as: the Yakir Junction, Abud, Tarquimiya, the Postal Junction near Talmon (14 cars also hit by gunfire), Deir Kadis, Pisgot, Herodian Square, Bonet, Kochav Ya’akov, Gil-Ad, Nili Square on Highway 446, the Maccabim Checkpoint, Road 465 near Deir Abu Masha’al, Road 55 near Azzun, Al Aruv, and the Tapuach Junction.
Iranian proxies struck in Syria . . .
Only now is the extent of damage done to Iranian and Iranian proxy (especially Hezbollah) bases back on March 12 being known. On that night, American aircraft hit the Iranians in retaliation for another missile attack on a base in Iraq that killed two American soldiers.
Among the 15 so-called “militia” headquarters that were struck were those of Hezbollah, Alnujbaa, Al Shaha’a, and the Hydrion Brigade. In addition, the strikes wreaked total destruction on Syria’s largest Iranian military camp “Imam Ali.”
TODAY’S BLOG:
Why Isn’t The World Following Israel’s Corona Example?
Before we answer the question posed in the title of today’s blog, let us reiterate that Israel has been following the world’s example in dealing with the Corona virus in almost every aspect.
Self-quarantines, social distancing, washing hands continuously, wearing gloves and masks, instituting flight bans, closing restaurants and bars, establishing drive through Corona testing stations: all of these we have seen in other countries around the world.
However, we might want to ask ourselves why no one has died of Corona thus far in Israel? I ask this question knowing full well that deaths will certainly occur. However, given the fact that there are now 324 confirmed cases and only 5 are in very serious condition as of this moment, what is it that Israel is doing differently?
The answer may be:
Chloroquine, Remdesivir, Kaletra, Resolesta, Cephaloplasma, Boceprevir, Globulin Hyperimmune A, Interferon Alpha 2B A.
This is a list of anti-viral drugs that have been used in Israel since the outset of the Corona outbreak. Some of these have been officially approved and have been in use for a long time; others are experimental.
Last night, the Israeli Health Ministry officially approved them all–an extraordinary step considering the experimental nature of some has meant that they have not been approved by the American FDA (a usual prerequisite for approval in Israel).
As we have already reported here on OneIsrael, a combination of Chloroquine (the synthetic version of natural quinine) and Remdesvir has already saved the life of at least one critically ill patient here. Chloroquine has been used for years by people traveling to Africa as an anti-malarial pill. It is extraordinarily cheap and extraordinarily effective. Even more than this it is used to prevent and treat disease.
All indications are that Chloroquine either alone or in combination with Remdesvir can almost immediately improve the condition of anyone with Corona.
Why isn’t the rest of the world rushing like Israel to supply these two drugs to medical facilities—and even to hand out Chloroqine on every street corner?
