Utter Hypocrisy:
The Assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Part 2
It has been a night and day of threats spewing forth from Tehran in the wake of the assassination of Fakhrizadeh and six of his cohorts. Everyone from Iranian President Rouhani to the Head of the Revolutionary Guards has sworn revenge against “the Zionists” despite there being no evidence that the assassination was carried out by Mossad.
The IDF General Command has been meeting in the Kirya in Tel Aviv all day, and all Israel Embassies around the world are on highest alert.
One of the most hypocritical aspects of the last 24 hours has been how the very people who supported and even funded the Iranian nuclear program over the last decade have rushed to condemn Israel.
The European Union with the Germans in the lead and the Democrats in the United States led by former members of the Obama Administration have issued scathing attacks against Israel.
Typical of these attacks is the one below by John Brennan who served as Obama’s head of the CIA from 2013-January 20, 2017 and Obama’s Assistant for Homeland Security for the four years before that. Most recently, the loathsome Brennan has been a “Senior Security Analyst” for the equally loathsome NBC and MSNBC television channels during which time he has endlessly attacked President Trump:
“This was a criminal act & highly reckless. It risks lethal retaliation & a new round of regional conflict. Iranian leaders would be wise to wait for the return of responsible American leadership on the global stage & resist the urge to respond against perceived culprits.”
“A criminal act”? What is criminal is the way that the world has turned a blind eye to the Iranian nuclear program, the Iranian development of ballistic missiles, and the Iranian foment of terror around the world.
The return of responsible leadership? It was the utter irresponsibility of Brennan, Obama (and Biden), and fellow pro-Iranians in Europe that accelerated the Iranian nuclear program by providing them with the cover, materials, and money to do so.
