The War in the North

The 4 IDF Divisions operating in south Lebanon (locations colored in purple below) and IDF Naval Forces in the Mediterranean (light purple along the coast) have encircled Lebanese territory south of the Litani River (roughly where the upper yellow arrow is) and are closing in on remaining Hezbollah strongholds in Naqura and surrounding area (the X area). The line at the bottom (between the purple area and green area) is the border with Lebanon; Hanita and Arab al-Aramshe are in Israel.

Some of the fiercest fighting is ahead.

In addition to the missiles fired at Israel, a number of Hezbollah missiles hit a UNIFIL post near Chamaa in southern Lebanon. 4 Italian soldiers stationed there were wounded.

On the Ground in Gaza

Palestinian terrorists operating in a Khan Younis “humanitarian area” fired two missiles at Kissufim and Ein HaShlosha at 13:15. Both missiles were intercepted; however, just the fact that missiles are still being fired at southern Israel border communities after 415 days of war is flabbergasting.

The IDF Spokesman about yesterday’s hostage video:

“This evening, the Hamas terrorist organization released footage allegedly showing a hostage who had been killed. We are examining the information, and at this stage, we cannot confirm or refute it. IDF representatives are in contact with her family and are keeping them updated with all available information. Hamas continues to engage in psychological terror and act with extreme brutality.”

Outside of Israel

A terrorist opened fire on the Israeli embassy in Amman Jordan yesterday. No Israelis were wounded; however, 3 Jordanian police officers were. The terrorist was killed (apparently: some reports say he escaped).

An Israeli Chabad rabbi, Tzvi Kogen, (who served in the IDF) was apparently kidnapped and possibly killed in Abu Dhabi, UAE yesterday. At the moment, the kidnappers remain at large and his body has not been found. It is believed that the terrorists are Uzbekis.
